EPCOT is for kids!! Of ALL AGES!! I repeat EPCOT is for everyone!

Clients will frequently ask me if they should take young children to EPCOT and my answer is YES!

From enjoying different snacks and KidSpot locations around the world, to meeting characters and attractions EPCOT is one of my families favorite theme parks! With seasonal scavenger hunts and delicious food festivals there is always something new and exciting to experience at the Experimental. Prototype. Community. Of. Tomorrow!

This Halloween was extra sweet for my family of “emotions” who attended “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!” From party exclusive treats to meeting rare characters, waiting in no lines for popular attractions and trick or treating- this event was nothing short of magical!

While I continue to eat, drink and have a great day with family on this Thanksgiving I thought I would share my thoughts on several booths at this years Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival. There is always something new to try and enjoy at one of Epcot’s many different festivals throughout the year!

While in JAPAN tasted the bao buns- these were filled with chicken and veggies- delicious and easy to eat when walking in the rain! SHIMMERING SIPS sampled one of the berry mimosa- very sweet, maybe a little too sweet for my liking. Also sampled the guava cake, the flavors and texture were spot on, however paired with the mimosa was a LOT of sugar! INDIA samosas are incredible! This pastry is packed with potatoes and peas and are out of this world delicious! NOODLES exchange offered a Thai shrimp curry dish and for $6.50 this dish can’t be missed!! The curry broth was so flavorful and the bowl was loaded with 5 huge pieces of shrimp. What would a trip to IRELAND be with out some Bailey’s?!?! For those that enjoy the taste of this irish cream it’s a drink you will LOVE! But the biggest hit of this festival was the pickle milkshake, your heard me right at the Brew Wing lab (think a combo of vanilla milkshake with a splash dill- not so bad IMO).

“You really went to WDW without your kids?!” - YUP- I sure did!

While I adore traveling to Disney with my children, it is a completely different experience traveling without them that I also enjoy! I was able to SLOW down and take in the surroundings of the parks and resorts. It was a pleasure to SIT and enjoy new cuisine that I typically wouldn’t if traveling with them and longer wait times for attractions weren’t a bother.

As a member of Just Keep Traveling I get the opportunity to travel to WDW and experience new attractions, festivals and more! This opportunity allows me to try new things and share them with YOU!

Advice- take the trip-You won’t regret it!!

Embrace the unpredictable weather of Orlando: When it’s 102 degrees- indoor attractions are a MUST! When it rains throw a poncho on! And when the temperature is just right grab a seat and enjoy the surroundings!!

TIP: did you know that water is FREE at Disney?!?! That’s right- go to any quick service location and ask for a cup of ice water!! BYO (water bottle) and enjoy cold water at no additional cost!
