Amazing to see Margriet and Phil all the way from WA and discover the amazingness of Bruges yesterday! Such a beautiful city!! Today the canals and breweries!!

Brussels
After a disappointing arrival (it seems all train stations in Belgium are sh*tty) we found the quaint and cute parts of Brussels before watching the little boy pi***ng into the fountain! What started as a regret for not going straight through to Bruges turned into the “I’m glad we broke the trip up” moment!

What an epic weekend!! We need a weekend to recover but it was fantastic to see Miia after 5 years and experience Helsinki in the snow! The sea pool was a perfect hangover cure this morning!!

Our visit to the Southbank Centre was to check out the No Comment exhibition which have sponsored as part of our Social Value mission - all the art in the exhibition is by artists who are currently in the UK prison system! Working on one of the big AHDP alliance projects I felt it was important i attended and my word it was powerful! I took great delight in providing feedback to ask the artists whose work touched me!

What an awesome weekend it was! We had the pleasure of staying at a friend’s farmhouse (one of Simon’s clients) and using the hot tub after a hard day in the garden and we finished off the weekend with a beautiful meal at The Windmill !

Too often people warn about getting into a relationship too fast or being too needy but I am a true believer there’s the right person out there for all of us if we look hard enough!
That person will bring out the best in you and you will flourish together and become the best versions of yourselves.
It took me until I was 46 (technically 45 when we started messaging in June) to find the man of my dreams, the one who can outperform me in terms of energy and endurance and still have mountains of love, affection and reassurance to give!
You are my soul mate and I know this will make your eyes leak a lot but I have to say it! Here’s to becoming the best version of ourselves! Boyfriends, husbands, fathers and sons among other roles we both play!

What a weekend!
Hiking and views for days followed by a night in Leeds with for Gracie’s surprise 30th! A much needed refuel at in Pudsey on our way home yesterday before crashing out! A decidedly more relaxed weekend on the cards this weekend!
