Opps… Covid did it again!

Another lockdown? If it was anything else that continued in our lives for so long, we would get used to it. I cannot get used to this.

It is expected news. I thought “Of course another lockdown. It is cold outside anyways, I wouldn’t go out even if I could.”

But I can feel I am more anxious, depressed and grumpy. Even if we say “I am ok”, “I got used to it”, it still impacts us without us realizing. Especially when we consider that we have been living like this for almost a year. Unknown future bring most of us to the edge, mentally.

These are delicate times for all of us who got furloughed/ lost their jobs, whose education stopped, holidays cancelled, who experienced the virus themselves or in their family.

YOU and me, we need to look after ourselves. Self- care is the most important when it comes to improving mental health.

Each day, do one thing that makes you feel positive about yourself and your life.

Start with smiling today!
