Earlier this year, a local-led "Gender Equality on Beaches" campaign proposed a bylaw amendment that would make it legal for anyone of any gender to go n**e from the waist up while on a beach on the island. 🌴Under previous law, women could be fined $300 and face up to three years in prison if caught topless on the island. Massachusetts was categorized as a place where "public nudity is deemed unacceptable but there are unofficial nudist beaches or reports that topless sunbathing is OK in specific locations." 🌊

Four of the top 10 destinations searched for by US-based Google Flights users are London, Paris, Rome and Lisbon! ✈️American tourists returned in groups to Europe, especially to France, where they were credited with "saving” the country's summer holiday season. ❤️🥳Portugal even offers a range of visas that make it relatively easy for Americans and other non-European Union citizens to move there. 😊

A location in Arizona’s Grand Canyon National Park is getting rid of its offensive name.

The name change is an effort to right a historic wrong after the members of the Havasupai tribe who were removed from the area by new National Park Service’s policies.

Signs and other markings are already being changed. to reflect the new Havasupai Gardens name and a rededication ceremony is being planned for 2023.

a plane flying to Paraguay from Chile had to make an emergency landing

after looking @ the plane when it landed, there was noticeable damage - broken windshield, nose missing, etc

yes all passengers/workers were okay, but this is definitely something traumatic (especially after reading some phone interviews from passengers)

We have a shorter, lighthearted? story this week - police & operations met a plane coming from Tampa, FL @ the gate to remove a SNAKE from the plane!

~no one was injured, it was just a garden snake🐍~

yes, however, it did cause quite the commotion as the plane was landing when passengers spotted it in the business class area 🫣

“More fliers are becoming cautious of checking in their baggage on their next flight, and it might be for good reason.”

This is probably an effect of a recent excess in items/luggage stolen 🥷
a survey deemed about 60% of over 1,700 respondents experienced some sort of issue over this past summer & 1 out of 6 people claimed their luggage was lost/delayed during their travel, yet 100% still plan to travel in the future ✈️🏝

Although there is no way to prevent this, you could get some sort of tracking device for your luggage (like an AirTag) to provide more information on exactly where your bag is 🧳

Lastly, if your luggage does become lost/items stolen, please reach out to the airline! you may be able to receive compensation! 💸🧾

it’s now been almost 3 full years of hearing about Covid-19, & for some of that time people argued about the necessity of the vaccine - some got it 1, 2, 3, 4 times even & some chose not to!

since, mandates fluctuated EVERYWHERE (you’d think this would be over) … which may leave people not only confused with their day to day life, but it may also confuse any plans of travel going forward - & this is another area in which i can help in booking your travel ☺️
i am constantly being updated on mandates being lifted/placed - as this is still a major issue!

this company is full of cruise ships that are smaller than your average cruise ship w/ so many luxuries! - don’t worry, these ships were made for crossing the ocean, no extra sea sickness

Missions like these seem to be unreachable, a life-long dream, but thanks to OceanGate - this may actually be a reachable goal without breaking the bank in the near future

Stockton Rush, owner of OceanGate, deemed the Titanic to be one of their first dives

After Rush successfully created a submersible made of lightweight material that can take >5 into the ocean, & he did just that

Other than getting the chance to see this amazing wreck, they had the chance to see different biodiversity & explore the ocean depths

Pools Open 🏊‍♂️💦
After almost 40 years, the 18 year renovation finally started on the 207 year old outdoor pool in England! (it originally got its water straight from the Avon!)
In 2003, when it was finally put up for sale, locals took it upon themselves to save this historic landmark & create the Cleveland Pools Trust - allowing them to protect the site & actually begin construction.
A project like this is extremely complicated & expensive - hence it estimating to take 18 years to complete & is estimated to cost over €9 million ($9.8 million)

travel is one of the best things in the world unless youre safety is compromised

let me give you all some tips to guarantee you stay safe while making memories:
-don’t flash valuables
-join tour groups rather than walking alone somewhere unfamiliar
-don’t accept car rides, food, etc.
-dress like a local
-wear a fake wedding ring
-know police stations, fire houses, etc in the area to go to in case of an emergency
-act like you know where you’re going

A Canadian couple, Edith Lemay & Sebastian Pelletier, have four children, 3 boys 1 girl, who discovered that 3 of their children suffered from retinitis pigmentosa.

Retinitis pigmentosa is a rare genetic condition that causes a loss of vision over time.

After this discovery, Edith & Sebastian has been determined to show their children the world!
