Artisan exists to inspire creativity, spur imagination, and encourage dreams. Located in Woodbine, Iowa, a scenic 45 minute drive from the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area, this collaborative work space and small gallery attracts artists of all genres. We are Artisan because we do not only teach art, but treat art as a sustainable business in which people can succeed. Our classes include creating a
rt, as well as selling and promoting art which gives our members the tools they need to pursue an artistic vocation. From “Girl’s Night Out Glass Fusion Class” to “Grandma and Me Coil Clay Class,” we offer something that appeals to all artistic interests. Come visit us for class or to reserve your own dedicated space and make your dreams come true!

Happy Mother's Day to all those mother's in Missouri Valley and Logan that got these specially made items.... I have been waiting until today to post these images ... I enjoyed making these projects with your children at their schools! Enjoy this beautiful day and your special gifts!

I worked with the Cleveland kids last week and today. We worked on photography and how best to use their tablets and editing photos. They are great students and I enjoyed working with them. We printed a couple of their best photos and put them on wood. They took the wood projects home to dry and then they will take the paper off.... I can't wait to see what they look like. Their photos where amazing!!!!

I only have two more art lessons to teach at Missouri Valley Elementary school. I have enjoyed every minute of it! I would like to thank the principle, staff and students for being so willing to allow me to come into their classrooms! I would also like to thank the Missouri Valley PTO for being so wonderfully passionate about supporting the arts in education and having faith in me to pass this on to their children. This undertaking has blessed me greatly ....thanks for the support and I hope we can continue to do more art together!

Finally finished my original wreath creation using Stampin Up's stamp set "Peaceful Pines" and the framelits to match. I up cycled ribbon rolls to help me build my layers. The netting was picked up at a garage sale and the paper and cherry cobbler ribbon was from last years Stampin Up Holiday catalog (I got it al on clearance). Very cheap project and I love it! If you would like to make this project alone or as a class/party .... Message me.

Isabell Crook celebrated her 8th birthday with these young ladies .... These fashion stars designed their own handbags with ink, melted crayons and some fun fibers to accent their handles. Very creative bunch! I really enjoyed working with these young ladies and hope to do more art parties as they grow up!!!!!
