Congratulations to INSEADers of the Month Michel Grebnikof, Vlad Oliiynk and Yasar Yilmaz GEMBA’16Dec for their disruption of the flight booking industry!

The trio recently raised $1.8M in Seed B funding for twistr.com, the start-up that won our 33rd Annual Venture Competition in 2016 – within six months of this achievement they raised $300,000 in Seed A funding. In June 2018, they took their venture to INSEAD LaunchPad at F in Paris to continue to grow and develop, and one year later they were selected as one of the Top 30 start-ups in Station F.

Michel, Co-Founder and CEO, has three engineering degrees and is focused on strategy and business development. A published poet, he is Lebanese and French with Russian origins. Vlad, Ukrainian Co-Founder and Head of Strategy & Product Development is a management consultant with ecommerce experience. An avid skater, he lives between France, Beirut and Kyiv. Yasar, Co-Founder and Head of Technology from Turkey, is a creative design thinker in technology and information systems services. In his free time he is the team’s professional chef.
