Starting July 24 At Walt Disney World:

✨Genie+ will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and Individual Lightning Lanes will be Lightning Lane Single Pass
✨Disney Resort Hotel Guests with a Lightning Lane Multi Pass can make up to three LL reservations per day, up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay.
✨Guests staying off-property can pre-plan Lightning Lane reservations up to three days in advance.

I recently booked a trip for a family at a discounted rate. On Thursday, a new deal came out for select hotels that wasn't overly publicized. After running some numbers and spending 40 minutes on the phone with their destination company (they have a unique reservation that required a call), I was able to save them an additional $836.30!!!
There is a good chance they wouldn't have known about the additional savings and would have spent valuable time making the changes on their own. But since they used a FREE travel planner, they have saved well over $1000 total!

This is a tough one, but if I have to pick, it would be between Dumbo and the people mover. I honestly wouldn't be as upset about losing the people mover if it wasn't a few minutes of SITTING with a COOL breeze blowing on my face. Both are key art WDW! 🤷‍♀️🤣

Animal Kingdom ranks last on my list of WDW parks, but only because one of them has to be last. However, this could be a game changer and push AK past EPCOT in my personal ranking.
There are plans to reimagine Dinoland U.S.A. into a new land inspired by a region sometimes referred to as “tropical Americas.” New experiences inspired by “Encanto” and Indiana Jones are being considered for the reimagined land!
A new show based on “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

D23 Annoucements:

Hatbox Ghost is coming to the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World in late November!

A new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge is coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom.! This will be a first-of-its-kind experience.

Country Bear Jamboree at WDW is getting new songs and a new act reinterpreting favorite Disney songs in different genres of country music!

The new nighttime spectacular at EPCOT called “Luminous The Symphony of Us” will debut on Dec. 5, 2023 at WDW featuring fireworks, fountains, lasers, lighting effects and music.

Test Track will be reimagined! Imagineers along with teams from Chevrolet are looking back to the original World of Motion for inspiration and bringing that spirit of optimism to the next iteration of the attraction! Stay tuned for more info.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will open on Oct. 16, 2023 in EPCOT.

Moana will also arrive in EPCOT on Oct. 16th to make her first appearance in her own dedicated space.

Figment will begin meeting guests inside the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT, Sept. 10!

Do you or a friend have a service dog and want to take a WDW vacation? Disney is very accommodating and if there is a ride your dog can't on, they have kennels that are sanitized between each use. Your dog will be happy and safe while you enjoy the ride.

Is there anything better than the magic of Christmas? I didn't think so until we celebrated the most magical holiday season at the most magical place! It is my absolute favorite time to visit Walt Disney World. This is a photo that was included in our memory maker during our 2nd trip. Tips and tricks Thursday!
As a kid, this was apparently my preferred method of drinking. Fortunately for you, there are easier ways to stay hydrated at Walt Disney World.
Take advantage of the FREE water!!! Yes, there really are free things at WDW! You can ask for a glass of water at any quick service restaurant or take your own refillable water bottle.

My day is full of meetings tomorrow so that means you get tips and tricks today!
There are strategies to score higher on Buzz Lightyear that don't require using 2 guns and that matters a lot to my kids, but I prefer strategies to make the most out of your Disney vacation! Less stress, less wait time, and less money spent so you can have more fun.
This doesn't mean you need to plan every minute of your trip, but not having a plan for certain things can definitely add stress.
I always plan for my ropedrop/early entry. That plan has changed based on their interests and our other plans for the day. For example, at Animal Kingdom a lot of people head to Flight of Passage. My kids like that ride, but we already had a pass for it later so while everyone was waiting for FOP, they road Expedition Everest FIVE times with absolutely no wait. I wouldn't recommend this plan for you if it was your first trip, but for us, it is perfect. There is an ideal plan for every family so let's chat and develop your best strategy!

Can I take a trip to WDW for less?

Yesterday we traveled to one of our favorite places and my son finally got a ring with a little extra reach from Dad!
You don't need a travel planner for Knoebles, but I still highly recommend you go. It's nostalgic, it has the best amusement park food (a lot of people go just to eat) and the best part is it has free entry! You only pay if you want to ride!

Thursday's Tips and Tricks

Take advantage of early entry! Sure, sleeping in when on vacation is great, but very little wait times at 3-4 popular attractions before the park opens to everyone is even better! This will help you check off some of your favorites and not feel so rushed the rest of your day. It may even give you time for an afternoon nap!
