Over the weekend retreat we discussed what does wellness actually mean & we know that wellness means different things to different people.
Being outside in nature, amongst the west of Ireland landscapes & connecting with likeminded people is a very simple way to start.

One of our goals as we make progress with our goals & targets with OutWest Living is highlighting the importance of “slow tourism”
Slow tourism has many different definitions, but at OutWest our goal is both simple & clear
Slow tourism will allow the individual to get immersed in the culture, take time to exchange with the locals & have a enjoyable, authentic engagement with the experiences.
We have so many ideas and very exciting concepts in the pipeline we can’t wait to share them with you in the weeks and months to come! 🌿

Community is defined a “all people living in an area or a group of people who share common interests”
At OutWest Living our long term goal is to ultimately build a very unique community, but building such things take time
Community is ultimately a primal thing, communities have been around for thousands of years & they will continue to be an integral part of human well-being for many years to come.
As this journey develops we’d love for you to follow along whether it be from afar or in person.

Excited to share that we have commenced preliminary work on OutWest Living! 🌿
OutWest Living will offer visitors & guests a chance to immerse themselves sustainably in nature, the outdoors & the local community!
Our website will be live shortly and we aim to document much of the development journey as we can!
Although we’re still at the very early stages of this project it’s one I’m very excited about! In fact the website domain renewed today, that year flew by!
The general concept around slow tourism and sustainable travel will be at the forefront of our movement - your trip & travel aims to connect you with the locality, the culture and the people.
The aim with OutWest Living is to provide a new, unique & impactful hospitality experience to those visiting the west of Ireland - starting on the Di**le Peninsula!
I’m also hoping to build on the incredible work my partner Rebecca has done to date building the OutWest brand!

Busy few months ahead with plenty headaches, speed bumps & frustration no doubt!
