‼️⬇️Quick information about my job⬇️ ‼️

1. Travel agents only get paid commission BY THE VENDOR they book a trip through. You’ll NEVER pay me directly for anything. 👏🏼

2. Vendors build travel agent commission percentages into their prices WHETHER YOU USE THE SERVICE OR NOT. Read that again. Even when you book your own trip through Disney, Expedia, Delta Vacations, VRBO, Hilton (or any hotel chain), any cruise line, any all inclusive resort, etc. you’re already paying travel agent fees in your price. 🤯

3. Travel agents only get paid for their services AFTER your travel is complete, not a penny before. All the time spent researching, emailing, messaging, calling… it’s all FREE to you. If you cancel or never actually book the trip, a travel agent receives $0.00. 💸

4. You will often get a better deal on your trip if you use a travel agent. I’ve actually priced check the consumer site prices to the price I’m quoting people and it’s sometimes tens to hundreds of dollars cheaper. 💵

5. When you book a trip with a Travelmation travel agent, you have a whole team of people in your corner. Our team leaders and administration have personal relationships within the travel community, like cruise lines, Disney and all inclusive resorts. A certain level of excellence is expected within that relationship. They meet with those representatives to keep a good standing and may go to bat for us or our clients if there is a major problem. 💯

6. I had to get a license through the government to be a travel agent, and I did hours of training before I could book even one trip. I plan to do more training as well so I can be the best agent I can be. 👩🏼‍💻

This past weekend the boys and I went to Atlanta for my niece’s second birthday. Friday night we went to the Braves game and they beat the Nats 8-4! Kaden and I made the Jumbotron twice 💙 (Facebook is only allowing me to post one at a time 👎🏼)

Seeing happiness all over your child’s face over the smallest things can quickly make you think about everything you take for granted. The water hitting his feet brought so much joy to him 😍 Memories last longer than toys and electronics, but I’m thankful for the electronic device aka my phone which is able to capture memories made so we have a chance to look back at them. Yes, traveling requires money. Times are hard and money isn’t steadily available. However, you don’t have to take some extravagant trip to make memories.
