Spend the night in a Medieval village!

Sextantio Santo Stefano di Sessanio is a located in a small village in the region of .

The hotel is housed in a 17th-century palazzo that served as the residence of the local lord and his family. It's called a scattered hotel and from the outside, you wouldn't even know that it was a hotel. Great care has been taken to preserve the original look of the village!

The restoration process was extensive, with each room being carefully cleaned, reinforced, and outfitted with modern amenities while still preserving the original architecture and character of the space.

The Ice Hotel in Sweden is cool 🧊
It seriously is made entirely of ice and snow, with rooms that are sculpted and crafted by hand. ❄️

The history of the Ice Hotel dates back to 1989, when a group of artists and designers created the first ice structure in Jukkasjärvi as an art installation. The popularity of the installation grew, and in 1992 the Ice Hotel has been rebuilt every winter, with a new design and layout each year.

Staying at the Ice Hotel is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The temperature inside the hotel hovers at a constant of -5 to -7 C. The bed you sleep on is made of ice, but don't worry – you'll be kept warm by a thermal sleeping bag and reindeer skins.
There is a warm lobby next to the hotel where you'll find communal changing rooms, toilets, and saunas.

In addition to the ice hotel built every year, Icehotel 365 offers ice experiences year-round. It is a specially designed 2,100 square meter ice art hall, which houses Art and Deluxe Suites and an Ice bar.

Check out La Mia Ca****la (My little Chapel)! It was built in 1890 and was recently converted into a luxury retreat for 2 or 4 people.
I think they did a great job incorporating the key featured of the chapel like the stained glass windows & arched doorways.
Very cool conversion!

The shoe house was originally a Guest Cottage built by a shoe salesman named Mahlon Haines in 1948, as a means of advertising his shoe business.

The shoe house is 48 feet long and 25 feet tall, with five levels of living space. The Shoe sleeps 6 people, and is a complete home with kitchen/dining room, living room, rec room, 3 bedrooms & 2.5 baths.

The shoe recently got a fresh makeover by the Browns, new owners of the Shoe House and the 8th owners since it was built.
