Throwback to our last day in Tokyo when we took Gracie to
She started off a bit overwhelmed, but after a couple of hours, she was riding the Carousel, hugging Minnie Mouse and loving life.

We’re going to miss the views of the “Choo Choo trains” from our window at the but it’s time to leave.
Honestly, if you’re looking for near flawless accommodation in Osaka then this hotel is where you want to be. It’s in Namba, so a very short walk to all the amazing food and vibrancy of the Dotonbori and surrounding shopping streets.
The hotel staff were so welcoming and accommodating, absolutely spoiling Grace with treats and smiles. Nothing was too hard or unsolvable.
Our only hiccup was Grace not being allowed in the pool as they restrict usage to kids 6 and up, which wasn’t clear to us at the time of booking. The pool was a major reason for us booking the hotel, so definitely a disappointment, but the staff did their utmost to make up for this.
It definitely was an interesting learning curve as many hotels in Japan have restrictions on kids using the hotel pools - something we didn’t know about! From now on, I’ll always call the hotel to confirm pool access prior to booking when travelling with kiddo in tow.

Happiest of birthdays to this guy.
My one and only, my personal chef and Dad-extraordinaire.
Matt, we love you more than we could ever express in an Instagram caption. Keep being you, forever. Which coincidentally is how long we will be loving you for. ❤️

As our very warm Autumn in Sydney cools down and we draw closer to winter, I’m dreaming of the whitewashed town of Ostuni in the Puglia region of Italy.
What I wouldn’t give to be strolling those bright white alleyways and taking in this view again.

This kid is definitely a fan of Easter. From first tastes of chocolate, to a love for bunnies, Grace’s second Easter was a whole lot of fun. Here’s hoping yours was too! 🐣❤️

Obviously my number one goal is to be the best mum to Gracie, but I’ve also realised it’s important to carve out time (where I can) for myself.
That might be as simple as getting to the gym, taking a walk or practicing some self care - like a face mask or a haircut!
Of course, I’m also excited to see what travel in 2024 brings. Having a little one definitely means more planning is involved, but our mammoth Euro Trip in 2023 proves that Gracie is a born traveller! 🩷

Here’s your sign to book a trip to Italy’s magical Puglia region.
The little hilltop village of Locorotondo might not get as much love as its nearby friends Alberobello and Ostuni, but, oh wow, does it warrant a visit. 🤩
One of my favourite things to do in Europe is wander through the laneways of the old towns and Locorotondo has the perfect maze of quaint, decorative alleys to get lost in.

Absolutely cannot get over the colours of Malta. The capital, Valetta, is so uniquely beautiful and the buildings are so well maintained with vibrant paints making each window and door stand out.

I truly still cannot get over the absolute paradise we experienced staying at in Sliema.
This hotel will always have a special place in my heart, because it is here on this balcony with the most wonderful view in the background that asked me to be his wife.
Malta was already a special place in our hearts, but now it’s even more precious.
Anyone looking for absolute luxury in a boutique hotel in Malta, you’d be wise to check out Land’s End. We loved it.

Marsaxlokk is this dreamy little fishing village in Malta, about 20 mins drive from the capital, Valetta.
We might be all smiles in this picture, but we’d had a nightmare of a bus trip just before this point where Grace screamed her head off - all part of the adventure of navigating travel with kiddos.
Luckily a beer and some food were all we needed to get her back to her cheery self.
Definitely add this quaint village to your bucket list - you won’t be disappointed.

There’s just something about pretty doors that gets me.
Lucky for me, Basel delivered big time.
These gorgeous displays were on full display in the old town of Basel.

We absolutely loved the super cute Polybahn in Zurich. This funicular railway takes you from the central square up to the university terrace. A ride takes next to no time at all; you're up the top admiring the sensational views in around 3 minutes. There's a ticket machine at the base of the funicular, so getting a ticket is easy - it's a great way to see the city from above and truly appreciate its beauty. .

Dreaming of being back in Puglia.
This region of Italy is packed with incredible towns, all with their own unique charms.
An absolute must see are the Trulli houses of Alberobello; strangely beautiful conical houses that put this town on the UNESCO world heritage list.
