- noun, a vacation spent at a little, secluded cabin in the woods called Deer Ridge Run involving games, spa treatment, day trips to local attractions such as Sabine ATV Park and South Toledo Bend State Park…just to name a few…
Example itinerary for a simple evening at Deer Ridge Run:
- Check in at Deer Ridge Run at 4 o’clock
- Unpack, play music or your favorite TV show
- Make a pot of coffee or hot chocolate (in cooler weather) to enjoy sitting on the front porch as the sun goes down
- Enjoy dinner and dessert (s’mores and a fire when the burn ban lifts!)
- Enjoy the cozy robes after showering and indulge in a collagen face mask for spa treatment…surely there will be a few laughs❤️❤️
- Maybe a game of Scrabble, Nintendo, or our conversation games for couples before calling it a night?
- Snuggle up in the pillow top Queen size mattress….most importantly, disconnect, reconnect,… Relax!

Preparing the little cabin for our guests this afternoon ❤️
My surroundings with nature and the sound of the birds stopped me in my tracks to embrace God’s wonderful creation.
As I drove to the cabin this morning, a smile came to my face as I saw multiple squirrels, a rabbit, and a multitude of chirping birds.
There is just something about nature that brings so much peace to my soul.
My hearts desire is when our guests stay, they can feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and the same peace 🙏🏻
