Alpine Fondue and Starlight Descent is back for winter 2023-24! Enjoy a fantastic fondue dinner at the Sunburst Bar + Eatery followed by an unforgettable ski descent on a freshly groomed run, under the stars.

Thursday, December 21. 11:00am-2:00pm at the P5 Toboggan Area
Join Santa and the gang for sledding fun, hot chocolate and winter cheer. Remember to bring your own sled.

Friday, December 22. 10:30am-1:00pm at the base of the Sunburst Express chairlift
Before Santa heads back to the North Pole, make sure to catch a lap or two with him down his favourite green run. Must have valid lift ticket.

Nordic skiers, it’s your turn for some good news! We are happy to share that the majority of our Nordic trail network will open on Friday, December 8. Full update: https://bit.ly/40HlIwz
Early season conditions are present on the trails, so please ski with care and be mindful of potential hazards. The East Village Centre (formerly known as the Nordic Centre) and the McGillivray Lake Outpost cabin will both be open.
We have good news for terrain park fans too. Our Park Crew has been busy in ‘The Garden’ on Sundance, installing several new features this week. With 12 features currently open and 13 planned by the weekend, Park Crew has checked in around the province and are pretty confident we are currently offering the biggest park in BC!

Sun Peaks remains open for regular business operations. The provincial government has now rescinded the order banning non-essential travel into many of the impacted fire zones and guests are encouraged to once again visit destinations such as Sun Peaks. We continue to host and support evacuees from various surrounding communities and remain ready to assist further if circumstances require.
Retro concert weekend in Sun Peaks is a go! Please check the schedule for updates to performers and times. There may be further adjustments as required to accommodate changing conditions.
We continue to closely monitor the wildfire situation. Rain from yesterday has helped and we are hopeful for positive weather conditions in the coming days. Smoke levels may still be present and extra precautions should be taken. Due to present circumstances, we will continue to offer cancellations, credits, or rebooking options for mountain guests requiring them.
