That fragrant broth characterized by aromatic spices, succulent slices of beef, the pungent freshness of spring onion and the softness of rice noodles is what makes Phở the symbol of Vietnamese cuisine. But unlike national dishes in other great food cultures like Italy or China, Vietnamese Phở is a relatively new food, only created at the beginning of the 20th century.

Monkeys can be found in many places in Bali, especially at the Ubud Monkey Forest where over 1,260 long-tailed macaques call home. While meeting these playful creatures can be exciting, there are a few things to keep in mind to stay safe:

✅ Secure your belongings: Monkeys love grabbing sunglasses, hats, and even phones.
✅ Stay calm: If a monkey jumps on you, don’t panic - they’ll leave on their own.
✅ Respect their space: Let them approach you, but avoid direct eye contact.

❌ Don’t bring food: They can smell it, and it’ll quickly attract unwanted attention.
❌ Don’t touch or tease them: It can make them feel threatened.
❌ Don’t run or make sudden movements: This might provoke them.

🐋 Three whales spotted swimming in Thailand’s forest

Hin Sam Wan (Three Whale Rock) gets its name from its resemblance to a family of whales when viewed from certain angles. Beyond their unique shape, this geological wonder is estimated to be around 75 million years old.

Two of the three rocks are accessible on foot, and visitors can climb to their peaks and enjoy panoramic views of the lush surroundings.
