My husband and I have been waiting for years to find the right way to experience the Aurora Borealis in person. Finally, decision made and we wish you to come along too! This voyage is timed perfectly! October is the start of the 11 year peak for seeing the glowing skies. 2023-26 is expected to have Northern Lights reach their maximum glory! Being out at sea allows the captain to maneuver the ship to the predicted area where the lights will dance. Their regular host expert, John Maclean may conduct Cunard Insight talks and commentary. Overnight stays at Tromsø and Narvik in Norway situates us above the Arctic Circle and within the Auroral Oval. Too much nature? No worries, there will be other things to do as well. BONUS: Guess what? During our 2nd night, we may be able to see the Partial Lunar Eclipse from the ship, in middle of the North Sea! How cool is that!?
