Good morning from Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland!😉☕

Well after about four lives, me Canon Rebel went lens up a few days ago. Yeah...this time she's gone b'y.😥 The ol' girl gave me lots of great images over her 8 years of duty and one can't expect much more out of the abuse I put that thing through. I know that she bounces well!⛹️‍♂️

📷September has been a cloudy one and I see few exceptions in the week ahead. Still...it helps to have a few to filter the sunrise when you're roaming the Doting Cove beachfront. You can almost see Ma Natures brush marks!🎨

Cod boats are on the move this morning! Mind the northerly nip out there this 11th of September and enjoy your Monday!😆🎸

Happy September!🥰 It sure didn't waste any time settling in. In fact, we felt it here yesterday evening under 50kph westerlies that 'felt like' a chilly +10. I seem to recall +10 feeling like a heat wave back in April but that's what a hot summer will do. In other muddy hole point news, we had our first feed of 2023 garden spuds.🥔 They still have another month of growing but I did pull a couple big enough to bake which is a good sign for a decent yield. Yes, they were some good!

📷I shot todays image about a week ago while roaming the edges of big brook. Path pics seem to invite you to a stroll and no better place to take one than this wee spot at the east end of town. You probably won't get far without the desire to pick the odd blueberry.

Keep the bail bucket handy!⛈ Looks like a soggy finish to August this week with Franklin dropping off serious amounts of rain to the island. Thunderstorms specifically threaten our little corner today which takes the wind out of any potato trenching plans I had. A day of doing nothing wouldn't go astray but too much of that o'l foolishness isn't in my nature.

📷Pre-sunrise o'er the Banting sands will not only send your jaw down to your toes, but it could take off on ya all together should you stand in the right spot. Oh and there are plenty of spots. Here's one from a couple of mornings ago.

Dynamite days are here and I hope August has thus far been good to you!🫶 You don't get much better weather than what we had yesterday and today I'm glad to report much of the same. By the by, thanks for the big chuckles the other day with your pet pics and quirky descriptions. I could feel the love...lol.🥰🐈🐕‍🦺

📷Last months wildflower and some logs for the mill(I assume)nicely dressed up this Ragged Harbour pasture for a click of the shutter. Most of this flower has gone to seed by now but there's always more varieties blooming in August and September. I was out just minutes ago capturing a few.
