This summer, Lauran and Jacob found the perfect escape in a cozy rainforest bungalow for their Costa Rican honeymoon, where relaxation met adventure! 🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸 There are many traditions to celebrate America's birthday! Here are a few fun facts about some of the most popular:

🎆 Fireworks! These have been a major part of 4th of July celebrations since the earliest days of the holiday. The tradition of setting off fireworks dates back to the first Independence Day celebrations in 1777.

🌭 Hot Dogs! Americans as a whole really love their hot dogs on the 4th of July. In fact, it's estimated that around 150 million hot dogs are consumed on this day each year. That's a lot of hot dogs!

🎉 Celebrations! Community festivals and parades featuring marching bands, floats, and often veterans or local organizations are a common sight on the 4th of July. These parades often include patriotic themes and showcase local pride.

Spring Break 2024 led the Jahnke family to beautiful Cancun, Mexico! 🇲🇽 We started planning last fall and were able to find a destination that checked all the boxes for their vacation. This was an extra special trip, as they celebrated their oldest daughter's graduation from high school and traveled with extended family! 🫶

Here's what Rachel had to say about my services: "Nicole did a wonderful job with our trip to Mexico! She’s incredibly fast on her response time and extremely patient when we ran into some hiccups using a debit card. Everything starts from something and here are some snippets from my “something” story! 🙂

During my senior year of college, I had the opportunity to tour Europe for a few weeks. It was an opportunity I knew had to seize and I haven’t regretted it one.single.bit!! Between multiple countries, numerous landmarks, LOADS of “I’ve been there” bragging rights and countless memories, one seed of a dream was planted that grew for decades. So much has changed since then and so much has stayed the same - I love traveling, learning and exploring! …and now I love helping others do the same!

ALWAYS start packing with a completely empty bag. Empty out suitcase and duffle bag pockets to make sure no prohibited items are accidentally in your luggage. Some countries have very strict and specific prohibitions. Look them up before you pack at travel.state.gov/destination.
