Six years ago, I wouldn't have grasped the idea that my heartbreak was a part of a bigger plan that God had for me – I wouldn't have believed it if you told me.

In those moments of wishing we'd never met or trying to force things to work, the pain, embarrassment, loss, fear, and loneliness felt overwhelming.

Learning to love again and navigate life without that person was tough. I unraveled, shedding the version of me that was shaped for acceptance.

I reconnected with my truth, knowing I couldn't go back to who I was before.

I never wanted to go through that pain again, so I put in the work. Soaked up knowledge about relationships, men, self-love & healing, translated it into my life, connected the dots, and truly started to understand myself.

This work isn't easy, I ran away from it for most my life. But it's 100% worth it.

I’ve lifted myself from the lowest of lows and I embodied a kind of strength, resilience, courage, and confidence I never knew I had.

I’ve learned to love again and this time I understand the true meaning of it- the healthy version of it. Now, I have the kind of relationship and family I’ve always wanted with a man I’m madly in love with.

I also left an unfulfilling healthcare job to step into a career where I get to support women on their healing journey.

I console and cheer myself on, ask for and receive what I need. I broke away from the idea that I must make everyone else happy to be loved. I am living the most authentic version of myself and I finally know what true joy feels like.

I'd never have imagined this was path that I was meant to take to get me here but I’m grateful for the bigger plan that was at play.

Surrender and release control, friend. You have the choice to turn this pain into your power.

I learned so much about what I wanted and didn’t want by going on a ton of dates and having so many different experiences.

It’s easy to get discouraged and frustrated but I promise if we are quick to cut off those who aren’t what we are looking for, we create the space for the right one to come along. I had to learn this the hard way 😂

If you can help it, don’t drag s**t out. I knew I didn’t see a future with the guy I was seeing before Isaac but man was I addicted the highs and lows of the chaos. I learned so much from the experience and knew that I wanted and deserved better.

This is a response to a comment I received on one of my videos about how someone was uncomfortable with me talking about s*x on a public platform.

This is why I do it. I know wayyyy too many people who struggle with never experiencing pleasure in their marriages.

Isaac and I often talk about how I could’ve gone my whole life without experiencing it the way I can now and how so many others are deprived of it. It just makes me so damn sad.

Also, if my parents weren’t so ashamed by the topic, I could’ve possibly been protected. I do not blame them. I blame how they were brought up and that’s why I’m choosing to change things.

I’ll take the hit on my reputation so others can be protected and experience pleasure ❤️

Our time in Turkey is coming to an end & it’s been a whirlwind. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve made lifelong friends, we’ve gotten lost, we’ve gotten hair implants, we’ve eaten until we couldn’t breathe & we’ve learned a ton along the way.

Here are a few of our tips for traveling in

*Don’t forget to get your visa online before arrival. It only takes a few minutes
*Make sure your taxi driver agrees to use his meter before you get in (people will try to rip you off). Also, have your gps or map out if possible so they know you know where they’re supposed to be going & they don’t take the scenic route 😆
*Stay off the main streets to find yummy food that doesn’t cost “tourist” prices
*Google cost of taxi to and from the airport beforehand & compare so you know whether or not your hotel is offering you a good deal
*There are a lot of boutique hotels, reach out directly to see if they’ll negotiate on price
*Rent a car & see more of Turkey. They drive on the right side of the road.

I never prioritized getting medical insurance for my previous trips but since Isaac and I were planning to travel full time and for an unknown period of time, I wanted to make sure we were covered if anything were to go wrong. I just didn’t want it to break the bank because we’re on a budget.

There were two companies that kept coming up for digital nomads.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These companies reimburse for injuries/ illnesses that are treated while you’re traveling. They don’t cover routine checkups or pre-existing conditions. They cover lost luggage, trip cancellation (world nomads) if you’re injured before you go.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* : been around since 2002.
Cost: They have two options which will cost you between $140-$210 per month. $100 deductible per event. You have to manually renew, max 90 days at a time. If you’re into extreme sports and adventure then this is probably the company for you. The more expensive plan covers extreme sports such as shark cage diving, skydiving, paragliding, ATV.
Coverage: worldwide except China

Cost: budget friendly option $40 per month for ages 10-39
There is a $250 deductible and $250,000 max limit
This company doesn’t cover as many extreme sports as World Nomads does but does cover hiking, horseback riding, scuba diving, skiing.
Coverage: Worldwide except Cuba, North Korea, and Iran

We chose Safetywing because of the affordable price and the main difference being extreme sports coverage. We don’t plan on doing a ton while traveling. It is also easy to renew. They automatically charges us every month rather than having to provide an end date (since we don’t have one right now)

Robert is the amalgamation of my ancestors; my mom, my dad, their parents, and those who came before them. Robert deals with Anxiety and Aggression.
I would describe it as overly Fearful. The world is a chaotic place and Robert at his core is a Survivor. Where does that put Robert and I? It puts us at odds with one another. For I am The Ego, the one that has to navigate this collision. I am the one that functions in society. I am the one that needs to be a productive member of it and be accepted by it. Robert and I are One, yet I Hate him. I keep him in the shadows but maybe he doesn’t need to be Oppressed. He is a part of me, the most authentic part, the part that no longer needs to hide in fear of rejection. Maybe embracing him, bringing him into the light, weaving him into the Isaac that I show the world will lead to radical self acceptance and love which will transcend my spirit.

There’s a version of all of us lurking in the darkness, afraid to be seen but who comes out when ignored for too long. Learning to integrate that part of us, removing the shame, finding the balance between the two are what will lead us to cultivating joy & creativity, relieving anxiety, and allow ourselves to live fully. Let’s not wake up one morning and realize that we are bored with the lives we have been robotically living.

Next thing you know, we’re booking a photographer/ videographer for our elopement in a few weeks 🤷‍♀️

Isaac: Let’s make it happen!
Before we knew it, we saved up the money to do it, left our jobs, sold most of our possessions & said goodbye to our old lives.

To all of my people out there looking for love, DO NOT SETTLE for just anyone.
You’ll find someone slightly crazier than yourself who’s willing to leap with you or at least hold your hand through it.
I was told I was nuts for a while 😂 but was finally able to find someone crazier than myself who believes in all of my big dreams & visions.

I cherish you crazy weirdo and our life full of spontaneity, adventure, laughs, beautiful memories, and an immense amount of love & joy.
