Arderne Gardens is a beautiful public park and arboretum located in Claremont, Cape Town.

Established in 1845 CE by an English timber merchant named Ralph Henry Arderne, it is home to one of the finest collections of exotic trees and shrubs in the country.

The gardens include several Champion Trees that are exceptionally large, old and historically significant.

Arderne Gardens should definitely be included in your visit to Cape Town.

Silvermine Nature Reserve is a beautiful and diverse area located within the Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town. 🏞️

When used as a greeting, Aweh is similar to saying “hello” or “hi.” It’s a casual and friendly way to acknowledge someone’s presence and show that you’re happy to see them.👋🏾

The exact origin of the word isn’t entirely clear, but it’s believed to have evolved from the Afrikaans word “awe” which means “yes”. Over time, it became the more commonly used “aweh” in South African colloquial language.

So, next time you want to greet someone or express enthusiasm, feel free to use Aweh! 😎
