Some Prop Heat/Garmin anomalies
I need some help from my King Air comrades.
I’ve had a couple of King Airs with the G1000 conversion that are throwing instrumentation errors during prop cycle changes. I have several of these videos, this particular serial number bird the worst of the culprits.
This aircraft had a dead prop heat on one side and indication fluctuation was severe whereas the other serial number birds I’m flying have a much smaller change in indication but still significant enough to exceed limits when it cycles (see video in comments). The KA350 I’m trying to remedy this on does NOT have a dead side on the prop heat and all amps are in the green during each cycle.
Maintenance has chased down wiring through the fuselage and out to the engine with no indication of a wiring problem.
Anyone ever had this issue and can direct us on a remedy? As a point to note- I have only seen this on G1000 converted aircraft but please chime in if you’ve seen it on other avionics platforms!

Yesterday from my good friend in Guatemala. I had never flown around a volcano until I had completed a delivery of a Caravan several years ago. I was quite amazed by the activity of the volcano and took some great shots of the smoke plume. The locals were quite unamazed since it is very common there. They didn’t share my awe!
