- nationals of Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty), and their accompanying children younger than 16 years;
- nationals of Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V and that they also received one vaccine dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty), and their accompanying children younger than 16 years. Passengers who received the last vaccine dose more than 9 months before arrival must have a booster;
- domestic workers accompanied by nationals of Kuwait;
- passengers with an 'Article 20' visa issued by Kuwait. Online registration at https://belsalamah.com/home.html is required if they do not have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
- passengers with a residence permit or a visa issued by Kuwait and with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty), and their accompanying children younger than 16 years;
- passengers with a residence permit or a visa issued by Kuwait and with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V and that they also received one vaccine dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty), and their accompanying children younger than 16 years. Passengers who received the last vaccine dose more than 9 months before arrival must have a booster;
- US military personnel with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty);
- US military personnel with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V and that they also received one vaccine dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty). Passengers who received the last vaccine dose more than 9 months before arrival must have a booster;
- passengers younger than 18 years with a residence permit issued by Kuwait;
- passengers arriving from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia or Zimbabwe.
2. Passengers who in the past 14 days have been in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia or Zimbabwe are not allowed to enter.
- This does not apply to nationals of Kuwait.
3. Flights from Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe are suspended.
4. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 6 years.
5. Passengers are subject to medical screening.
6. Passengers should install "Shlonik" and "Kuwait-Mosafer" applications on their personal device.
7. Suspension of visa on arrival facilities.
8. Passengers must register online before departure at https://kuwaitmosafer.gov.kw/home.html
9. Passengers are subject to 2 PCR tests at their own expense upon arrival. They must have a payment confirmation obtained at https://kuwaitmosafer.gov.kw/home.html before departure.
- This does not apply to:
- nationals of Kuwait;
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty);
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V and that they also received one vaccine dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty). Passengers who received the last vaccine dose more than 9 months before arrival must have a booster;

10. Passengers could be subject to quarantine at a hotel or home-quarantine for up to 7 days.
11. Passengers must have a confirmed hotel reservation booked for 7 days at https://kuwaitmosafer.com/home.html before departure.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty);
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V and that they also received one vaccine dose of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTec (Comirnaty). Passengers who received the last vaccine dose more than 9 months before arrival must have a booster;
- unaccompanied minors younger than 16 years.
12. Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued in Kuwait must present the certificate through the Immune app, or Kuwait Mobile ID app, or Kuwait-mosafer app.
13. Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued outside of Kuwait must:
- have a QR code on the certificate; or
- upload the certificate at https://vaxcert.moh.gov.kw/SPCMS/PH/CVD_19_Vaccine_External_Registration.aspx
- This does not apply to US military personnel.

Requirements
1. Negative RT-PCR (swab) test valid 72 hours from the time/date of test to the time of acceptance on the flight obtained from a local government accredited lab. This does not apply to children below 6 years old.
a. For passenger through Belselamh package: Test result must be obtained from an accredited laboratory listed in the Medical Utility Network Accreditor [MUNA] system
b. There is no exemption from the requirements for PCR except child below 6 years old.
2. Complete registration in SHLONIK application.
3. All immunized category: All passengers shall undergo 10 days home quarantine. Passengers can end the quarantine on the third day by performing one PCR test (at own cost) in the State of Kuwait.
4. All allowed (Only Allowed Passengers) non-immunized category: Subject to 7 days hotel quarantine upon arrival at passengers own expense.
Arrival passengers infected with Corona virus outside the state of Kuwait, and after spending the isolation period, they are permitted to enter the state of Kuwait as per the following:
1. Immune passengers: - submit positive (PCR) test result certificate between (7 to 28) days prior to the date of arrival.
2. Non-immune passengers: - submit positive (PCR) test result certificate between the period of (10 to 28) days prior to the arrival date.

State of Kuwait Approved Vaccinations and courses:
1. Travellers who have taken State of Kuwait Approved Vaccinations according to the mentioned course as follows;
• Two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine.
• Two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine.
• Two doses of Moderna Vaccine.
• One dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine.
2. Additionally, travellers who have taken the following unapproved vaccinations according to the mentioned course;
• Two doses of Sinopham
• Two doses of Sinovac
• Two doses of Sputnik
*Provided they have received at least one dose of one of the State of Kuwait approved vaccinations after taking the unapproved vaccinations.

1. Kuwaiti national despite of their vaccination status.
2. Non-Kuwaiti first-degree relatives of Kuwaiti citizens with valid residence/visa despite of their vaccination status.
3. Domestic workers with valid residence/visa accompanied by Kuwaiti despite of their vaccination status.
4. Immunized GCC Nationals with valid passports (Must meet vaccination conditions)
5. National non- immunized minors below 16 years travelling along with their IMMUNIZED GCC national parents.
6. Immunized domestic workers travelling with GCC nationals can avail VOA (Visa on Arrival) on the clause accompanied by sponsor (Must meet vaccination conditions).
7. Non-immunized domestic worker with valid residence/visa travelling through Belsalamah package.
8. All other Immunized travelers with valid residence/visa.
9. Non-immunized minors below 16 years with valid residence/visa travelling with their immunized parents
10. One time entry for non-immunized minors below 16 years with valid residence/visa travelling alone
11. Immunized passengers with valid E-visa. Travelers must be vaccinated according to Vaccination Conditions in terms to enter the State of Kuwait. All e-Visa holders to be in possession of hard copy of the e-Visa email/confirmation for easy transaction upon arrival.
12. Government and private medical staff, their accompanied or unaccompanied first-degree relatives (husband/wife/children) with valid visa/residence by submitting proof their profession and proof of relationship and their accompanied domestic worker despite of their vaccination status.
13. Foreign diplomatic missions and approved diplomats and their accompanied or unaccompanied first degree relatives (husband/wife/children) with valid visa/residence provided that their Diplomatic ID is being presented and their accompanied domestic worker despite of their vaccination status.

Requirements for TRANSITING through KWI International Airport.
• Must be in possession of confirmed onward ticket within 24 hours. Inter terminal transit also permitted.
• Must be in possession of valid negative RT-PCR (swab) test valid 72 hours from the time/date of test to the time of acceptance on the flight obtained from a local government accredited lab.
• All transit passengers are obliged to wear mask and ensure social distance during their time in Transit Area.
Updates as of 29-November-2021
1. No visa on arrival at Kuwait International Airport.
2. Residents permit holders overstayed (more than 6 months) outside Kuwait;
a. Persons exited the State of Kuwait on/after Sep 01,2019 are permitted to enter Kuwait, provided if they are in possession of a valid resident permit/visa.
b. Persons exited the State of Kuwait on/before Aug 31,2019 are not permitted to enter the State of Kuwait even though in possession of a valid residence.
3. Passengers shall travel/enter to the State of Kuwait by presenting their valid digital civil ID using the Kuwait Mobile ID App.
4. GCC Nationals must use their passport to enter State of Kuwait. Travel with ID is suspended.
5. GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries are; United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar and State of Kuwait.
6.Any passengers arriving from/have been to the South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zambia, Malawi in the last 14 days prior to their arrival are not permitted to enter the State of Kuwait. However, this does not apply to Kuwaiti citizens by adhering to the following requirements;
1. Valid negative PCR (72 hours)
2. 7 Days institutional quarantine upon arrival.
3. Conduct PCR test on arrival and on the sixth day after arrival.
