Anyone here a control freak? I’m guilty of this, especially when it comes to trip planning!! A common misconception when using a travel agent is that you have to give up control of your travel.

You absolutely do not! Want to research for your trip but still want someone in your corner in case issues arise? I can book for you and can give you an extra layer of help if anything comes up during travel and many times have extra contacts to work with because I’m an agent! I’ve had clients send me exact booking details because they wanted to support my small business but already knew where they wanted to go. (Often times I can find better deals so it’s a win/win!)

You don’t want to even look for a hotel, just want me to pick something? I can do that too!

Travel planning can be as hands on or hands off as you’re comfortable with!

Hesitant to try cruising? When he went on his first cruise last year with me, my husband was too. Didn’t quite drag him kicking and screaming but relatively close. 😆 And he ended up shocked by how much he loved it. (I wasn’t surprised because of course I’m always right.) He said he’d prefer a cruise over a week at the beach. Fast forward to cruise number 2 this year, we were both so excited to go and had the best time. On the way home he says, “will they let you stay on the ship if you do back to back cruises? That would be cool to do different itineraries in 2 weeks back to back.” A week later. “I wish we lived on a Disney cruise ship.” Me too babe. Me too. So moral of the story when you step outside of your comfort zone you’ll never know what you’ll find!!

What’s your favorite cold weather activity? Mine is going somewhere where it’s not cold. 😆 For me there is no better time to go somewhere tropical than when it’s freezing at home! Often times you can get better rates then too! (Especially on cruises!)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!! I’m so grateful for all of the clients that supported my business in 2023 and a special thank you to those that referred me! Your support means more than you know!

Now is the perfect time to start thinking about your vacations for this year! As you start requesting time off, don’t forget to check your company’s holiday schedule and stack your time off with paid days off so you can get more vacation days in!

Please reach out to start planning today! Planning early = more choices! Don’t wait until the cruise you wanted has no more balcony rooms left or the all inclusive you had your heart set on no longer has ocean front rooms. When spending your hard earned money, you should get what you want!
