G'day all,
Sad to say this, but I'm astounded and disappointed by the terrible example being set by many travellers at the minute, ignoring laws, main roads advice, police advice, locals advice and crossing flooded rivers on closed roads.
Not to mention thinking they are more important than, and giving no regard to their fellow travellers who are doing the right thing and waiting for the road to open!
If it's a closed road, it's closed. if you ignore this, you're a wa**er. Plain and simple. A wa**er.
An arrogant, self entitled, egotistic, disrespectful, self entitled, pompous wa**er.
Road will be open soon people. Be patient. Nature controls us, not the other way around.
Unsure about what happens if you get caught on a closed road in W.A.?
-No insurance
-No medical rescue
-No breakdown coverage
-HUGE fines ($1000 per tyre per KM, including trailers & spares)
- Everyone thinks you're a bellend.
To those who did the right thing - thank you from all the patient people along the Gibb.
To those who think they're above everyone, hope your diff falls out and you trip and fall on a nest of green ants.
