Just visited the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which just opened in December. Was not too impressed and the decor was a little too gaudy for me. If you like the 1950's/1960's glamour decor, dripping chandeliers and overly decorated hallways, then this place is for you. As an average person, I felt a little uncomfortable in this hotel.

Tonight I was asked, "What is the benefit of using a travel agent?" I love to see the look of relief on people's faces when I inform them that even though travel agents make a commission from researching the trip, providing expert knowledge on the area and ultimately booking the trip, nonetheless 95% of the time we are able to provide better rates than what you can find yourself on the internet.
