On a recent safari to Botswana, Tanda’s captured an incredible sequence of images featuring two lovebirds. The two leopards were found mating & across 2 days Marlon spent quality time with the duo.

On the last afternoon the leopards bedded down next to a scenic waterhole. They gave Marlon an incredible show & some wonderful photographic opportunities.

Lion cubs go a little crazy as they arrive at the scene of a carcass. One of the mothers had just caught this big male Red Lechwe moments before, all witnessed by &
at Selinda Camp. As the cubs arrived they went into what’s best described as a “playing frenzy”.

“It was sensational to see, and to photograph. I’ve never seen cubs so energetic, they were besides themselves & had us laughing at their antics throughout!”, says .

Check out our video in the Link in our Bio to see them go a little crazy!

“We recently spent time with two lovebirds on safari in Botswana. The two leopards could not have picked a more scenic spot, pure photographic bliss.”

For these images, got down real low to the ground, as low as the vehicle & terrain allowed. It gave him a beautiful position from which to capture the scene.

In Africa there are so many safari camps to choose from and travel to. As a traveller, you are spoilt for choice. With that said, there are a handful of camps and lodges that truly stand out above the rest. & their range of safari camps do exactly that!

We got to experience 3 of their camps in Botswana last week and it is safe to say we had the time of our lives! We visited Zarafa, Duba Plains and also got to stay in the Selinda Suites. Each had their own flavour, their own style. When asked at the end which was our favourite, it was impossible to choose. One is not better than the other, they all offer unique experience that place the emphasis on your as the traveller.

In this series of images you’ll see a few highlights from our stay. Apart from being spoilt at the lodge with impeccable cuisine and warm, caring staff, we enjoyed epic game viewing experiences of the highest calibre. The camps did not disappoint and exceeded all expectations.

Thanks to for hosting my wife wife and I, we had the very best time and can’t wait to return and to bring more people your way.

Stay tuned as I share much more content from this experience with you soon.

Meet Boitshepo Motsitsi, our specialist travel planner & logistics co-ordinator with a radiant smile 😁

I am Boitshepo but please call me “Bots”. I am born and bred in Soweto but a lover of every corner of the world. I am a mom to an amazing
boy child and love spending time outdoors.

I’ve spent my entire adult life as a Travel Consultant and have
basically worked in almost every aspect of the travel industry. From consulting to tour guiding, even as a special
travel shopper at times. I am an innovative person with a huge ability to learn while sharing.

My passion for the safari industry in general is getting to learn and know about the animal behaviour, their
fascinating habits and survival skills. I also enjoy showing off our game reserves in South Africa as being some of
the world’s best. Furthermore I am also keen on the birdlife and the many species we have in South Africa.

Africa’s vast flora and fauna also plays a role in our wildlife, giving us the opportunity to sell and promote the amazing specialized safaris such as animal photographic safaris, horticulture tours and not even
forgetting our amazing gastronomic “safaris” - building a whole new experience in our tourism. A holiday on safari has so much to offer you!

My behaviour towards our natural world is greatly positive as a travel expert, I believe in nurturing this world so
we can carry on and show it off, learn more for future generations to also carry the flag of what was started.

Healthy ecosystems and well-maintained & funded conservation efforts are also the foundation sustaining the travel and
tourism economy.

I keep people out of trouble when they travel that’s what I believe in…I enjoy putting together out of the world
itineraries that only need money and imagination to become a reality.

Meet Gary Wachsberger - CoFounder of Tanda Afrika.

Gary’s love for the bush started at a young age of 6 when his dad took him on a family trip to the famous Londolozi Game Reserve. His love for the bush accelerated in his teens through multiple trips to the Kruger National Park and Private Game Reserves throughout Southern Africa.

In 1998 Gary was exposed to large-scale, high-end safari travel with the YPO Organisation and Africa Family Safari Experience. Gary joined YPO as a member and created the YPO PhotoVersity program with the objective of learning photography in some of the most amazing locations in the world, a programme that has been running successfully for the past number of years.

Gary’s love for Africa, unique experiences and adventure have led him into the Safari travel business through the Tanda Afrika Safari Company. Together with his co-founder Marlon Du Toit, they have over 45 years of experience in luxury travel and the hospitality business and have personally visited some of the world’s most exclusive game lodges and safari destinations.

Gary is CEO of the Intamarket Group of Companies which has multiple business interests, including hospitality through the Capital Hotel Group. Gary is an active member of YPO and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Johannesburg Chapter.

"My intention has never been solely for recognition. I wish to use all my resources to make a positive change to our natural world. My photography allows me to introduce people to the incredible natural world around us. It allows me to create positive visual memories that will leave a lasting impact. My wish is to see nature flourish again so that future generations can enjoy the company of lions and of elephants like I have.”
