My name is Dale and I was born and raised in the beautiful, sandy beach town of Tawas that La Vida Loon cottage is located in. Growing up in such a picturesque and outdoor-oriented community instilled in me a deep love for travel, sports, and adventure. Whether it's kayaking on the crystal clear lakes, hiking through the forests, or trying out new extreme sports, I am always up for a new challenge
and experiencing the thrill of the unknown. In addition to my love of adventure, I also have a passion for renovating and transforming houses into comfortable, inviting long term and short term rentals. My brothers and I renovated La Vida Loon which brought our whole family together and was an experience I'll never forget. This cottage has been a true labor of love over the last 5 months as our family decided to buy this 100 year old property and fully restore it to its former glory once known as Grove Cottages. Being from Tawas, this town and this lake has a very special place in our hearts which was one of the main reasons we wanted to restore this property so that guests could enjoy all the lake has to offer. As first time hosts and being local to the area it means a lot to us to also preserve and protect the community’s culture and the surrounding natural environment. Nestled on the edge of the lake, our charming cabin offers the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. We're all so excited to share this cabin and our hometown with all our amazing guests!
