A previous guest just reached out about booking another family vacation with me. She already knew the exact details of her trip. It's simply a matter of an email exchange or two in order to book, but to me, it's the difference between a good week and a bad week, a difference of being able to pay my bills, and a difference of being able to contribute to my kids extracurricular activities.
My guests may not always get a better rate by booking with me, but they also will NEVER pay even a penny more when booking with me. There are some cases I'm able to get better rates or added value but in ALL cases my guests are not just a number to me, I'm always available for anything they need. Unlike booking online where you ARE just a number to a 1-800 call center, my guests have my personal cell phone number and in ALL cases I do truly care.
This guest chose to support my small business because she knows she is able to ask me as many questions as she wants and has my support before, during, and after her trip if she needs anything. It's truly a win-win for both of us.
