We live in 🐻 country and encourage YOU to be bear aware! We are seeing increased frequency of trash cans being toppled.

If you're staying in WaterColor:

☑️ Please properly secure your trash cans.
☑️ Place your trash outside in the morning for pick-up; never leave it out overnight.
☑️ Refrain from leaving anything outside that might attract wildlife.

This Saturday, September 11th, South Walton Fire District members will run 3.43 miles to remember the 343 firefighters lost as a result of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

You can expect to see us running between Van Ness Butler Regional Beach Access and Bramble Grove around 9 a.m. This "event" is for SWFD members only, however, members of the public are welcome to cheer on and encourage our participants as they make their way along Highway 30A.

We're hoping you'll also join us on Facebook Live, starting at 8:40 a.m., as we broadcast a special message from SWFD's Dispatch Center, then hold a moment of silence and prayer to honor the fallen.

We'll see you all on Saturday morning! ❤👟🔥

Prayers for our friends in NOLA, this is going to be a rough one.

11pm NHC update on IDA. Winds still 80mph. Pressure 989mb. Landfall over Cuba didn't hurt much. No changes in track thinking. Heading towards LA later Sunday. Winds still expected to be CAT 4 140mph. TS conditions as early as Sunday AM. Storm Surge, heavy rain, tornadoes, and strong winds are all threats. Very serious!

Sunset and sunrise on the beach is always great, and if you are on 30A, especially in the winter months. My favorite spots are the Beach Club in Water Color, Western Lake Bridge by the Boat House, Western Lake Docks, and Grayton Beach.

Stress Free is a short walk to downtown Seaside. Take a quick bike ride or a 5 minute walk and avoid the traffic and parking.

In an attempt to get visitors to consider options other than driving into the Seaside, Florida, town leadership is implementing paid parking.

Flags At Half-Staff

On October 16, 2001, President George W. Bush approved legislation requiring the American Flag to be lowered to half-staff on all Federal buildings to memorialize fallen firefighters across the country.

The Public Law 107-51 requires this action to occur annually in conjunction with observance of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service today from sunrise to sunset.

WaterColor Inn guests now have access* to two highly anticipated resort-wide projects (developed by the WaterColor Community Association) – adding more outdoor recreation, dining and private resort amenities for our guests to enjoy.
