150 years ago today Holland America Line first sailed from the Netherlands to New York city with 70 passengers and 800 tons of Cargo. I am so proud to be just a small part of this amazing company with such a rich history, and I am honored to help carry on the tradition of transporting travelers to every corner of the world.
To everyone who has been a part of the last 150 years in any way, as employees, guests or travel partners please join me today in celebrating our story, taking this opportunity to look back at where we came from. Then tomorrow we look forward to the bright future and continuing to write the Holland America Line story.
