Fiji has now dropped their vaccine entry rules -

ADVISORY: FIJI REMOVES REMAINING COVID-19 RELATED BORDER HEALTH MEASURES – INCLUDING PROOF OF VACCINATION

14 February 2023: Effective today, 14 February 2023, international travelers to Fiji will no longer be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and travel insurance.

This move comes following careful consideration of the global and national COVID-19 situation by the COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Taskforce (CRMT) and applies to both arrivals from air and sea.

Previously, all travelers 16 years and above were required to produce proof of full vaccination and travel insurance covering COVID-19.

As reported by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS), Fiji’s hospitalization is low, owed to our community-wide immunization and in-country surveillance capacity. Notably, the focus remains on implementing COVID safe measures around those vulnerable to the severe effects of COVID-19.

The MHMS also reports 100 percent of Fiji’s estimated adult population have received one dose and 95 percent received the second dose. The vaccination of our target population has been progressing well with the 12 years and above coverage rate for Fiji being 99 percent for Dose 1 and 89 percent for Dose 2. Furthermore, as of the 8 February, 170,867 (54.6%) booster-eligible individuals have so far received their 3rd dose while 29,208 individuals have been administered the 4th dose.

Cayman Islands Government announced yesterday that effective Wednesday, August 24, 2022, ALL COVID-19 Travel Regulations to the Cayman Islands will be removed.
As such, travelers are no longer required to apply to Travel Cayman for travel certificate/approval to travel to the Cayman Islands, show proof of vaccination and non-vaccinated travelers may once again travel to Cayman.

NEW - PCR TEST FOR DOMESTIC TRAVELLERS IN INDONESIA
Very important to share this information with your guests travelling on any domestic flights in Indonesia :-
Please note there is a NEW policy for DOMESTIC TRAVEL ONLY that is now being implemented.
• Travellers with Only 2 vaccinations –are required to show proof of a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours prior to any domestic flight
• Rapid Antigen tests are currently not accepted and it must be PCR
• A Traveller with proof of 3 or more vaccinations – no testing is required
In Bali and Sorong, guests with only 2 vaccinations can get a PCR test by 10am and receive results by 9pm; Ambon is 2 x 24 hours for results; Maumere no testing is available so guests must have 3 vaccinations.

It willbe easiest to have your vaccines up to date and boosted to avoid the extra PCR testing.

Entry Requirements During the COVID-19 Pandemic
All international tourists are permitted to enter Costa Rica by air, land and sea.
Tourists must meet the visa requirements, when applicable, as well as the
requirements established in the framework of the pandemic.
The Government of Costa Rica does not require tourists entering by air, land or
sea to present a negative COVID-19 test, nor quarantine upon arrival.
Tourists visiting Costa Rica are requested to abide by the sanitary protocols in
place when participating in tourist activities throughout the country.
* Important update (February 23, 2022)*
As of March 1, the capacity will be extended to 100% requesting the QR
code in business, sports, cultural, academic activities, discos, dance halls
and nightclubs.
Commercial establishments that do not ask their customers for the
vaccination QR code must operate under limited capacity of 50% and
respecting distancing measures.
Children over 12 years old must present the QR code to enter
establishments and activities that request it.
People vaccinated abroad, whether Costa Rican or foreign and who do not
have a QR code, will be recognized the physical vaccination card issued
abroad, in order to verify that they have the complete vaccination scheme
to enter those businesses that request it
Tourists vaccinated with the allowed serums will receive a vaccination QR
code before entering the country.
It will be from April 1 when all establishments, activities and events will be
able to operate at 100% capacity without requiring the use of QR code.

SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO PROTOCOLS FOR ENTRY INTO THE
COMMONWEALTH OF DOMINICA
Please be advised that Cabinet advised approval of the following protocols for entry into the
Commonwealth of Dominica:
1 Protocols for Pre-Arrival
Compulsory requirements for passengers/travellers:
a. ALL travellers shall:
i. Complete a health questionnaire online prior to arrival in Dominica

If travellers experience difficulty in completing the form online prior to
boarding, it must be completed on arrival in Dominica.
ii. Upload a negative PCR test result from swab taken within 72 hours prior

iii. Upload vaccination certificate.
b. QR Code shall be generated automatically upon submission of form
c. Travellers must present Negative PCR test result from swab taken within 72

48 hours prior to expected arrival time into Dominica to airlines or other
travel carrier prior to boarding and upon disembarkation in Dominica.
2. Disembarkation:
a. Fully vaccinated Travellers shall present confirmation of complete health

Travel to Quarantine-Free Fiji Now Easier and Cheaper

It is now simpler and cheaper to travel to quarantine-free Fiji following a major announcement by the Fijian Government over the weekend involving the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. Effective February 9th, visitors from Travel Partner Countries over 12 years of age, now have the option to use a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) taken within 24 hours of the flight scheduled departure or a PCR test within two calendar days of flight scheduled departure to enter Fiji.

The announcement has been made possible due to Fiji’s high rate of vaccination - 93%+ of Fiji’s population over the age of 15 have been fully vaccinated - coupled with the falling number of hospitalizations, the strong uptick of booster vaccines and the effectiveness of the Care Fiji Commitment, which helps to ensure guest safety at all times.

The island nation has also announced the end of its nationwide curfew, for the first time since March 2020. In further good news, all vehicles, such as buses, vans and taxis can operate at full capacity, however, mask-wearing is still being enforced.

Protocol for entry to Philippines. This could change-

JUST IN: Effective Feb 1, fully vaccinated passengers will be required to present negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hrs prior to departure from country of origin, and they will no longer be required to undergo facility quarantine.

Effective Feb 10, fully vaccinated nationals of non-visa required countries shall be allowed to enter the Philippines, subject to several conditions. | via Leila Salaverria/Philippine Daily Inquirer

Based on the IATF-EID guidelines, leisure travelers from visa-free countries will be allowed to enter the country, provided that their passports are valid for at least six months at the time of arrival, and they possess outbound tickets to their country of origin or next country of destination. Leisure visitors must also carry proof of vaccination against COVID-19 that are recognized by the IATF-EID. They include certificates of vaccination issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), VaxCertPH of the Department of Health (available at https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph), and a national/ state digital certificate of a foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the IATF.
