Had a great 10ish mile training for the upcoming 26.6 mile Central Texas Ultimate Hike with @curesearch (insert shameless plug for the fundraiser link in bio). Put my new @topoathletic traverse shoes to the test (thanks for the recommendation @hikingwithpuddin). I don’t recommend jumping straight in with new shoes, but I was curious about their break in period. This was only my second hike with them and even moving fast, on difficult terrain, after a water crossing, and with a 38# bag, I’m really happy with them.
