Lots of exciting Disney Resort news coming for the 50th anniversary this fall!

✨ Starting Oct 1, all onsite Disney Resort guests will have early theme park entry to every park, every day!
✨ Also starting Oct 1 Deluxe and Deluxe Villa guests will be able to enjoy extended evening hours on select nights in select theme parks!
✨ Dining plans are coming back! 🙌🏼 No date just yet for this one.
✨ Disney Resort guests will also enjoy surprise appearances by some favorite Disney pals who will be dropping by Disney Resort hotels!

Today is the day! Disneyland is opening their gates to out of state guests beginning today and masks will no longer be required for fully vaccinated guests both indoors and outdoors.

Today in Disney World masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests as well, unless on transportation.

BREAKING! Fireworks are returning to the Disney parks! We are SO excited about this announcement! 💥

Starting July 1 in Magic Kingdom & Epcot and July 4 in Disneyland, fireworks will be back nightly!

Beginning June 15, face masks will be optional for all vaccinated guests, except while on transportation! The official new policy states:

Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in most areas. Face coverings will still be required of all Guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner. While we will not require proof of vaccination, we expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation. Guests must observe current policies on face coverings until June 15.

‘Ohana is finally reopening July 9 and we couldn’t be more excited about it! 🎉🌺🤙🏼

Located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, ‘Ohana is one of our favorite restaurants at Disney. It will be reopening for breakfast (without characters just yet) and dinner and reservations open tomorrow, June 10!

Who else loves this delicious family-style restaurant as much as we do?!

Calling all Star Wars fans...Galaxy’s Edge is a must do! Millennium Falcon and Rise of the Resistance make you feel like you are part of the experience! Try some Blue Milk and check out Oga’s Cantina. Maybe make a light saber and visit with some droids. Jedi’s are always welcome!

So many great little shops on Sunset Blvd and if you love thrill rides, Tower of Terror and Rockin’ Rollercoaster are a MUST! And don’t forget about Lightning McQueen for your littles!

Some great dining options in Hollywood Studios! ABC Commissary has a wide variety of menu options and is off the beaten path. Sci-Fi is a unique dining experience that the whole family will enjoy. And Baseline Taphouse is a nice place to relax, have a beverage and a snack to revitalize you for the rest of your adventures!

Hi Friends, I’m Maureen McAbee, travel lover, wife, mom to 3 teenage boys (!), nurse and perpetual volunteer. Originally from the Midwest, I’ve moved across the USA 6 times, lived in 7 states and overseas in Japan, deployed to the Middle East and traveled around the world as both a Navy veteran and spouse. After planning numerous family vacations down to the minute detail, my sister suggested I get into travel planning and now here I am - excited to plan your family’s next big adventure as a Travel Planner with Pixie Travel!

My travel experience encompasses 4 continents, 20 countries, 45 states and 2 U.S. territories as both a single traveler and a married mom of 3. I’ve climbed the Great Wall of China, dove the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, visited storied cities in Europe as well as explored some of our most beautiful national parks & landmarks here in the U.S. Our sons have joined us on the ski slopes of Montana; the bustling streets of New York, San Francisco & LA; rappelling waterfalls in Costa Rica and snorkeling the Middle Keys of FL. Despite our many adventures, we still have so much more to see and do - travel provides such great opportunities to learn together while making memories that last a lifetime.

Planning a vacation can seem overwhelming for many but for me the research, itineraries and preparation fits my personality perfectly. I hate to miss out on a single detail and look forward to putting the same time and energy into planning your next adventure. Whether it’s a family theme park vacation, a luxurious cruise, a grand European tour or a weekend getaway, I’ll help you every step of the way. From brainstorming destinations, to booking interesting experiences, I look forward to working with you to build the perfect itinerary for fun and amazing memories!

Disney’s Beach Club Resort finally reopened yesterday! We absolutely love this resort. Walkable to Epcot, easy Skyliner ride to Hollywood Studios, and the amazing 3-acre Stormalong Bay pool... it’s hard to beat this special place! 💦⚓️

The Turtle Hospital in Marathon is a fully-functioning veterinary hospital for sick and injured sea turtles. They rescue around three per week, rehab them, and release the sea turtles back into the Florida Keys. It was amazing to see! 🐢

Boardwalk Ice Cream opened yesterday in the old Ample Hills location on Disney’s Boardwalk. We can’t wait to give it a try next week!
