🔥TRAVEL POINTS🔥 I am gearing up for some epic travel plans using 100,000 bonus sign on points from CSP (Chase Sapphire Preferred) and BILT mastercard. 100,000k points is UNHEARD OF!
I recently changed my financial future by allowing the money I already spend, to pay me back in travel. I had heard of people using credit cards to pay for everything including monthly bills… and paying off their balance every month as a way to earn rewards. I was never interested in regular rewards programs with no large returns and my bank just wasn’t paying me back.
With that said, three months ago I decided to give it a try. I switched all of my payments over to my Hawaiian credit card so I could start earning points towards all of my Hawaii travel. I started paying everything I could think of with my credit card. The only items I was not able to pay through my credit card, were rent and other credit card/auto/personal loans. Each month I have been racking up Hawaiian points and paying off my balance. At the end of the day, my credit scores are stabilizing and increasing and I started earning points! Finally letting my money work for me.
At the end of the day, though… I was not earning to my potential… and was told to check out CSP and their offerings. I applied, was approved and am on my way to receiving 100,000 bonus points as long as I spend $4k within three months. (I have been using the card for three weeks and I am about $1200 from reaching that goal.) I will be getting my points the following month.
Today I was told about BILT MasterCard. A card that allows you to pay your rent (not mortgage) without fees and as long as you pay off your balance each month (which you are doing anyway if you pay in a traditional way) you are earning points towards travel. I am absolutely taking my finances into my own hands and making my money work for me. It’s money I am already spending and I will be traveling for free because of it.
If you have questions, let me know.
**I am not a financial advisor** I am just a real person, making real money moves to pay for my travel. It’s pretty epic. You have to just dive in and make it happen. I am no longer using my bank for all transactions/expenses. The bank literally does nothing for me.
It’s scary to trust the process and do something new because you are no longer on a traditional budget and you have to still be aware of your spending but you just learn to do things differently. It’s been so worth it.
Cheers!
