Last night, a dream came true - I saw and captured the Aurora Borealis (aka Northern Lights) over Rhossili Bay. I've had this location in mind for years if the conditions were right. And last night there was a massive 'Interplanetory Shock' from a recent 'Coronal Mass Ejection (CME)' detected that would hit Earth around 8:15pm. With this in mind, I rushed down to Rhossili and huddled down against the wind and took this photo. It was even visible with the naked eye for a while when these 'pillars' appeared.
