We had the pleasure of meeting while standing in the lightening lane for Na’vi River Journey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on our most recent vacation!

Let’s talk VIP Tours… have you heard the buzz? Yes- booking a VIP Tour Guide is a huge investment but if you’re planning a once in a lifetime trip and/or have the budget to swing it, it’s truly the most amazing way to “do Disney”. Dave is the best of the best- and you CAN request a specific guide when making your reservation.

SO… your burning question. How much is a VIP Tour Guide booked through Disney? According to Dave, the hourly price varies by season but was currently at about $775 per hour with an 8 hour minimum. This includes up to 10 guests but park tickets and reservations are required and park tickets are not included in the price.

Big news today y'all!!

Magic makeovers are back!

We are pleased to share that earlier today, a magical proclamation was found in Fantasyland announcing a very special return. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will soon welcome young guests once again for royal head-to-toe transformations at both Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland park at Disneyland Resort on August 25.

Disney cast members – Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices – will transform guests ages 3 to 12 into some of their favorite Disney characters with hairstyling, makeup, costumes and accessories. In addition, the reopening ushers in even more options to choose from — including a new hair accessory especially designed for textured hair and new costumes featuring some of Disney’s newest heroes and heroines coming later this year.

Located in the heart of Magic Kingdom and Disneyland park, the reopening of these two iconic locations will join the slate of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques aboard Disney Cruise Line, including the newest addition at sea on the Disney Wish. And stay tuned for more details about Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations at Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort and Spa and Disney Springs, which will reopen at a later date.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has a long legacy of making dreams come true for children around the world.

Guests may begin making reservations for these magical transformations in early August only in the My Disney Experience app and Disneyland App, or at DisneyWorld.com and Disneyland.com. Valid admission and park reservations are required for entry into Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland park.

More big character updates:
- July 6th Minnie Mouse will rejoin Mickey at the Town Square Theatre
- July 6th Chip ‘N Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long will return to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
- July 10th Peter Pan and Snow White will return to greet guests in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland
- July 17th Star Wars Launch Bay returns where guests can meet Darth Vader & Chewbacca over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The saying goes… “a rainy day in Disney is still better than a day anywhere else” ☔️✨

We got soaked y’all! And still had a blast!!

Have you ever gotten caught in summer rainy season at Disney?

Our top tips for the infamous random summer Florida showers:

1. Pack lots of cheap dollar store ponchos (1 per park day per person) or, more environmentally friendly option. Raincoats or reusable ponchos! We do both!

2. When parking your stroller for a potentially long period of time with even the slightest chance of rain. Prepare with the hoods down and even plastic stroller cover. Your kiddos’ dry bums after a shower will thank you!

3. Make the rain fun, play, have a blast! It you have plans to stay a while after the rain has passed for good… then change into dry socks, shoes and shirts (that you’ve packed in waterproof bags of course 😉)

4. Find an indoor ride, show or meal to wait things out!

5. And… last but not least! Our favorite weather app with smart watch alerts! Download AccuWeather and check the timing, hour by hour and radar!

Just in case you need it, here’s your friendly reminder not to compare your outtakes (real life) to someone else’s highlights reel. The fact of the matter is, even when you’re on vacation… you’re still just parenting in a different environment.

No one has perfect kiddos… especially when we’re accustomed to seeing the best parts of the day all linked together with magical music.

Is the magic still alive? YES! Do we all snap on each other when we’re hot, tired and hungry? YES!
