Get ready for an exciting year of adventure! We kicked off 2024 with a cruise to the Bahamas and Turk and Caicos. Next, we're considering a fun-filled weekend in San Diego (fingers crossed!) Then, we embark on a breathtaking journey through Glacier National Park and perhaps even Idaho. Western Europe starting from western Germany l,Eastern France, specifically Dambach-La-ville, and ending our tour by discovering Liechtenstein!. Last but not least, Arizona is calling us!, What do you think about our travel plans?

God morning from Miami! We pulled into port around 4 this morning.

W was walking down the hallway to get a final beverage and there was a couple moving their luggage out into the hallway. The gentleman said, “I hope they don’t lose it.” To which the lady replied, “Don’t you be inviting that negativity.” He immediately responded, “Oh no, I ain’t inviting no negativity, I throw holy water on it, I pray to Jesus, ‘watch over my luggage!’” He saw W laughing and poured it on even thicker, “Holy water, Holy water, PRAISE JESUS! Save my luggage!” W almost died laughing. 😂🤣😂

One last stage show. This one was a bit of a tear jerker. They paid tribute to the 30 home countries of the staff members of the crew by parading in with all of the flags. Then, the performers did a tribute to love and togetherness. It was very moving. Tomorrow is the last day before the boat goes to dry dock, so it was the last day for a lot of the crew, too.

We land in Miami tomorrow, but we aren’t rushing home yet! We have a full day in Miami before we fly home on Friday. So, don’t stop watching us quite yet!

Tonight’s buffet selections included a couple of salads, mashed potatoes, seafood penne, enchiladas, roast Turkey, chicken, and pork, carrot cake, apple cream cake, and double chocolate swirl cheesecake.

It was fun, though. We had won a couple of cards at Deal or No Deal, so figured we should check it out.

Today, we had a mission: eat lunch at the 3 lunch places we had not yet eaten at. We succeeded, but, oh boy, are we full! Bbq chicken, pork, beef, and sausage, baked beans, and man n cheese. Fish, beef, and chicken tacos. Mongolian beef with rice. It was all pretty good, but the lines were pretty long.

A few of this morning’s breakfast options. Waters are a bit rough today, but we plan on doing a few final things on the boat today including trying to finish off the restaurants we’ve wanted to try but haven’t been able to check out. We were hoping to do shuffle board and the ropes course, but think it’s too rough for either of those. We shall see.

Tonight’s entertainment was a show of big band and 90s-aughts pop fusion. Still a bit strange but not as much as Sunday night.

Tonight’s selections included ham, pineapple, catfish, Cole slaw, bbq ribs, green beans with peppers, chicken Parmesan, artichoke cheese cake (very good), pepper steak, linguini with clams, pizza with prosciutto and arugula, chocolate tres leches cake, pear cake, tiramisu, and walnut bread pudding (also very good)

And so we say au revoir to Turks and Caicos. Grand Turk was a fantastic surprise. We are now on our way to a full day and two full nights at sea. We’ve tried to save a few more experiences on the boat for the last day. We will keep you updated. And, as always, thank you so much for coming along with us! It means the world to us. ❤️

Today, we did one of the most un-us things ever: we went to the top deck of the cruise ship, grabbed a couple of lounge chairs, and took a nap while soaking in the sun and cool ocean breeze. Don't think this is going to become a new way of life for us, but.... we didn't hate it... :-)
