Can I just take a minute to brag on my 8 year old daughter???

On our recent trip to Universal Orlando, we walked up to the Jurassic World Velocicoaster and even I was pretty intimidated! Outside the attraction sit 100s of people waiting for their friends or family members who had simply “chickened out”……

I immediately thought this would be a ride that only my husband or I would take part in, but she looks up at me and says….”Mom, I think I want to ride this!”

WHAT??? 🤯🤯🤯

I reassured and questioned her— “You don’t have to ride. This is your decision and I will do whatever makes you happy.”

As we enter the line and start looking around, she says “There’s nobody here that looks my age…..”

YA’LL…..the Velocicoaster has 2 high speed launches, 4 inversions, goes 70mph, and has a 150 foot drop and my daughter rode it with me 2#########x!!!!! 🤩🤩

She really is the coolest! Look for her on the 2nd row to the back! Go on YouTube and watch the full video of this ride! Then tell me whose the thrill seeker in your family!!? 🎢

As most of you know, my kiddos missed a couple days of school last week to head to the Most Magical Place on Earth! It was purely educational 😉😉

But Who says a trip to Walt Disney World can’t include learning??

During our trip, we had the pleasure of staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, a stunning resort built to resemble the exotic accommodations in Africa! Right outside your resort room, you can look over the Savanna to see zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, ostriches, etc…..🦓🦒

While spending our day at the Lodge, we were able to particpate in multiple activities that taught us about the different African countries, wildlife, ecosystems, languages, and cultures! (Did you know that Africa has over 1500 languages??? Or that the Nile River is the only one that flows north???) Not to mention, we met multiple individuals from Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and more! 🌀🔆

There’s sooo much more to Walt Disney World than theme parks! This is what keeps the magic alive and makes us want to go back more and more 🤍
