On day 8 of the Grand Moroccan Escapade with The Travel Scientists we've treated ourselves to a little luxury in a beach resort in Agadir.

There was a pool, there was beach access and there was an early finish party with good food, good company and some dancing.

Day 7 was a rather relaxed drive through stunning desert landscapes and through a peaceful canyon full of lush palm groves.

Day 6 - After almost a week of passing by "careful, camels!" road signs, today we 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 encountered camels crossing the road right in front of us. Definitely a highlight of the trip! 🐪🥳🤩🐪

Is it easy to make us happy? For sure. But hey, that's a good thing, isn't it! 😂

Day 4 of the Moroccan Escapade was a rest day.

But we at The Travel Scientists don't know the meaning of the word "rest", so we took the opportunity for some desert driving, cultural exploration and camel riding.

So much so, that we almost needed a rest day to recover from our rest day. 😂😅

Day 3 of the Grand Moroccan Escapade with The Travel Scientists began with a great breakfast and a goodbye from new friends in Boumalne Dades, followed by a drive through some spectacular, green valleys.

In the evening we got our first glimpse of the Sahara in Merzouga, with its towering sand dunes as far as the horizon reaches - no image can capture their majesty, but we tried!

🐪🌴 Day 2 of the Grand Moroccan Escapade with The Travel Scientists leads us along the Road of One Thousand Kasbahs and into the Valley of Roses.

While the former offers countless stops with breath-taking views over ancient kasbahs, you probably won't leave the later with some regional rose products, like rosewater for an irresistible smell and rose creams for that wrinkle free skin. :D

In the evening we enjoyed a great dinner with traditional live music - there was even some dancing involved, but those videos shall be shared with the public on another day. The world is not yet ready to see our very own Aravind dancing. ;) 🌴🐪

On day 1 of the Grand Moroccan Escapade we left city life behind for the next days, crossing the Atlas Mountains and doing some sightseeing in Ait Ben Haddou.

Along the road we saw countless kasbahs and green oasis valley full of date palms before relaxing by the pool in Ourzazate in the evening.

All in all it was a great day to easy into the rally and prepare for the adventures to come!

The Travel Scientists have just returned from the Grand Moroccan Escapade and we had a blast together with our teams!

While we are still busy dusting the Sahara sand off of our shoes, here are some impressions from our first day in Morocco, which we spent in Marrakesh.

They say that there is nothing you can't buy in the souks of Marrakesh and after getting lost in the endless maze more than once, we are sure that is true! From underwear to elaborate handicraft products, from simple ice cream to snail soup - you will find everything in Marrakesh!
