The delicious natural smoky flavours created from the unique redgum create a flavour sensation that pairs perfectly with the very best locally sourced meat and seasonal regional produce. While their steaks are a must, we also can't go past the wood-roasted kipfler potatoes, jamon crisps, caramelised onion, chives, truffle oil, pecorino Romano ... even their sides mean business. Open for lunch Friday to Monday, this place is seriously stunning and with exquisite food and wine to match. The menu is a shared ‘feast style’ celebration created with the best local produce. Selling like ... well .. hot cakes! Just near Dromana, bakes fresh, handcrafted baked goods from locally sourced flours and seasonal farm produce. 🍞🥯🥐🥖Their baguettes are overflowing with filling and their pastries and cakes use stunning local seasonal fruits. While all their breads are delicious we can't go past the sourdough which is 100 % naturally leavened with a two day process of fermentation to ensure a complex and unique flavour profile and also an easily digestible product. And if the sourdough wasn't enough maybe pick up some parmesan pin wheels with smoked salmon and caviar orrr how about their dreamy pistachio and raspberry cake? They often sell out so stop by if you're heading in Dromana. If this wasn't enough afterdark the space is host to , spinning incedible pizzas made with slowly fermented dough, handstretched mozarella and elevating classic pizzas with contemporary flavour combinations. Finish 2020 with a cherry on top! 🍒🍒Only one hours drive out of Melbourne in the magnificent Yarra Valley, is one of Australia's largest "pick your own" orchards where you can select your own lucious cherries straight from the tree.🍒🍒
Known for growing some of the best and biggest cherries in the world, they are open for picking until the end of 2020 so if you have a day free in the next week or so, it makes for a perfect break from all the Christmas madness.
