Our local Walmart is currently going through a remodel. I was able to find this today on clearance for $2. 🙌🏼 I looked up other locations around the country and the ones that have this in stock, full price seems to be $7.48. You may be asking, “Emily, how does this laundry basket apply to traveling?” Well, I’m glad you asked! This laundry basket is super flexible yet well made. Not only are we going to be able to use it as our laundry basket in the hotel, but currently it is storing all the drinks and snacks we will be taking. It’s going to fit nicely in the back seat. If you are driving, it would be a good multi-purpose item! I’m always looking for things that have multiple uses if I’m going to spend my money on it.

If you answered stroller sign in my last post, you were correct! Still need to get the ribbon and all to tie it to the stroller but so excited about how it turned out! Already had the white paint and Modge Podge but everything else seen here came from the dollar tree. 😍 I’m obsessed with how it turned out!

This will be my first trip with a toddler so I’m going to bring back all the tips of things that did and didn’t work for us.
I admit….. I was wrong. Years ago before I fell in love with Disney, I used to think that it was pointless to take kids to Disney before they were old enough to remember. I completely disagree with that now. They may not remember, but you will. You’ll remember all the wonder and magic of how they experienced it. We have memories from last year’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party that are core memories. We will be making tons more memories in September and I cannot wait to see the wonder in my (then) 1 1/2 year olds excitement. He LOVES watching walkthrough’s and rides on TV. Take the babies! You won’t regret it. 🥰

Recently, Beast has been seen greeting guests in his study, a beloved perk of the dining experience that has been absent since reopening after the 2020 pandemic closures.
This appears to be a test run, and Beast's return to Be Our Guest isn't confirmed as a permanent arrangement...at least, not yet. 🥀✨

📲 Not wanting to spend all your time on your phone while in the parks to book lightning lanes? Disney has heard and is making the process a little easier for your vacation!
🗓️ On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.
They will also be updating Lightning Lane passes to help guests:
• Make Lightning Lane plans before you’re on vacation, for added confidence.
• Choose your experiences and times prior to purchasing, so you know what you’re getting.
• Book Lightning Lane passes for multiple vacation days, all in a single day.
🗓️ Here’s how Lightning Lane passes will work beginning July 24.
🎫 Lightning Lane Multi Pass �When guests purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you may make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park, in advance of your visit. You’ll also be able to choose available times as you make your selections. On the day of your visit, once you use a selection, you may check the My Disney Experience app for availability to make an additional selection.
🎫 Lightning Lane Single Pass �Lightning Lane Single Pass will work much like it does today, where guests can secure a time to ride one of the most highly demanded attractions, but you’ll now be able to make your purchase and plan in advance.
⁉️ How to Plan Ahead �Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels (Shades of Green Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels) will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance. These advance purchase windows will let guests secure some of their must-do rides and experiences after they've had some time to decide what dining reservations they want to book and any other plans they may need to consider.
Guests may purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass or both. The app will also be updated to make it quicker and easier to purchase and plan, with fewer steps and a new option to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass in one transaction.
Lightning Lane passes will blend features from current services and the previously offered FastPass+ service, giving guests the choice to plan ahead and removing the hassle of planning during their vacation.

If you know that you are wanting to purchase tickets to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World, I recommend purchasing them as soon as you know what date you’d like to attend. As of right now (June 17, 2024 at 8 PM CST) all nights are available except Halloween night. The closer the party gets, the more dates will start to sell out. Thirsty Thursday! Make sure you hydrate, hydrate, hydrate in the parks! You don’t want to get sick because you don’t. Pro tip: make sure you don’t drink the water off of the rides. Before every ride, the message states, “Keep your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times” so don’t stick your Stanley in the ride water to drink… or to bottle and sell. Sounds crazy to have to say that but it’s happened before!
Get the bubble wand. Even your adult children will love them 😍 we got this one at Target and it works just as well as the ones from the parks. It’s the perfect starter wand!
Wildlife Wednesday! There’s so much to see at Animal kingdom! I was lucky enough to capture the owl in slow motion and it is one of my favorite videos!
Monday Musings Epcot forgot to put the dome over the park tonight. 🤫 The lightening is going crazy during Epcot Forever! Did you know that some people think there is a dome over Disney World and that Disney can control the weather? While that would be super cool, there is actually not a dome over Disney and Disney cannot control the weather. Can you imagine how expensive a dome over all of Walt Disney World would be?
