The council for the Town of Bethany Beach (with whom we have no affiliation) recently modified their parking rules in accordance with Phase 2. The gist is that...

(1) All of Atlantic Avenue and all oceanfront street ends and parking lots will be available as Residential Parking Permit spaces ❗️ AND PAY TO PARK ❗️spaces;

(2) Pay to Park will be in effect from 10 AM to 11 PM on Atlantic Avenue and beachfront streets closest to Garfield Parkway and 10 AM to 8 PM farther north and south of Garfield Parkway;

(3) Parking is open and unregulated when Pay to Park in not in effect (meaning you can go for a nice walk on the beach then grab a cuppa & brekky before 10am for FREE);

(4) Still 2-hour pay-to-park along Garfield Parkway (which is the way it has always been according to a town staff member).
