🚗 Our first road trip in Clem was an epic adventure that took us through the breathtaking landscapes of the Southwest! From the ancient cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde to the iconic Grand Canyon, we embarked on a week-long journey filled with awe-inspiring sights. 🏞️

We kicked off our adventure in Mesa Verde, where we explored the fascinating history of the Ancestral Puebloans and marveled at the stunning cliffside dwellings.

Then, it was off to the Four Corners, where we stood in four states at once, a moment of true geographic wonder! 🌍

The Grand Canyon left us speechless with its vastness and beauty. We hiked along the rim and watched the colors change as the sun dipped below the horizon. 🌅

Horseshoe Bend was next on our list, and the sight of the Colorado River carving its way through the red rock was nothing short of mesmerizing. 🌊

Zion and Bryce National Parks were like something out of a dream, with their towering red rock formations and lush greenery. We hiked Angel’s Landing and watched the sunrise at Bryce Amphitheater. 🌄

Canyonlands and Capitol Reef showcased the rugged beauty of Utah, and we couldn’t get enough of the sweeping vistas and winding canyons. 🏜️

Our journey concluded at Arches National Park, where we marveled at the incredible sandstone arches that seemed to defy gravity. 🌟

And throughout it all, we were grateful for our America the Beautiful Pass, which allowed us to explore these wonders while supporting our national parks. 🇺🇸

This road trip was more than just a vacation; it was a journey of a lifetime. Can’t wait for the next adventure with Clem! 🌎✨

Gutting clem has begun!
Day one consisted of tearing off paneling, side walls and the ceiling. I tried for the floor however the nuts were rusted extremely. So a combo of apple cider vinegar did the trick over night!
Pro tip if something is rusted don’t just try to muscle it in one direction- go back and forth to loosen it! 🔩⚡️
Day two was spent getting the floor out and cleaning her all down!

Guess we should introduce ourselves here!
We are Kelly & Steven 🧡
We met each other one night at a dubstep show in Philly where I (Kelly) had my first rig a econoline 250 fully built out! Through our time getting to know one another and starting our relationship we took trips to NYC, DC, Ohio, Virginia, and Florida for various music events. Slowly but surly Steven fell in love with the idea of a nomadic life and using his engineering skills to build his own rig. 🚐
Then in March 22’ we packed up all our belongings and moved across the country together to Colorado! This trip was in his Audi and my E250. However during the drive the transmission BLEW in RIP 🪦!
One year into us having Clem and now we are finally converting her and tricking out stevens new FJ Cruiser for all our off roading and over landing adventures 😊
By day Steven is an engineer working on some of major league sports biggest stadiums 🏟️ While Kelly is a entrepreneur and canna chef 🍃 👩🏻‍🍳 she also has Robinow syndrome a form of dwarfism so sometimes our adventures are a little different! But here to prove disabled people have a space in nature and hiking too! 🏔️
Our weekdays are packed but we use every moment we can get to appreciate Mother Nature in her beauty either we are camping, hiking, a quick picnic, off roading, or finding some dispersed camping our weekend our spent outside plotting our great breakaway 🌈

7/2/23 we camped at Mt Elbert Forebay! When we pulled to the very back of the dispersed campsites we had no clue we were a three minute walk from this gorgeous man made lake! Turns out it’s stock full with trout making it a hidden secluded gem as most people in the area head the twin lakes like we did at first. However we’ll always take the quiet spots over the popular ones!
🏕️ our perfect campsite out of side of Clem had a next to a tent & cooktop complete with fridge! Shout for keeping making sure we had water all weekend 💦
🦋 Last thing we did before heading back to the city was place a stone in memory of Kelly’s cousin Jake- keeping his Tarzan spirit alive we are placing stones at all our adventures as he loved CO and planned to bring his truck camper out to the Rockies. 🧡

6/30 We took the van officially off roading up a mountain in Vail CO! It was beyond worth the hour of crawling up a Rocky Mountain so we could camp for two nights out of the van. 🚐
Upon arriving we were treated with a rainbow so we knew we’d be in a great weekend!
Our Saturday was spent hiking the deepest either of us has gone in years which resulted in the best scenery! We found an old pulley system, beautiful Aspen groves, lots of white water, butterflies, and even ruins of an old cabin!
📍 Upper Piney dispersed camping had only 7 spots so we made an make shift spot on some established grounds. Which worked out great!
🚨 PSA it’s a privilege to get to enjoy national forests! We witnessed +40 people through a party on a trail heads protected meadows - not cool.
Here at Clem Kelly & Steven are here to share some great views but also educate people on respecting nature! Here are some of our tips:
1️⃣ research your campgrounds before hand like it’s terrain & rules
2️⃣leave no trace- but also leave her better than you found her aka pick up others trash 3️⃣do not camp on trailheads- only in designated zones to protect yourself & wildlife
4️⃣ have a good 💩 shovel and cover up your waste by at least 6 inches
5️⃣ if there’s a campsite/ person registration please fill out even if free as it’s for your own safety incase you get lost but also this helps the state and national parks determine if they should keep funding or keep the parks open!
