We’re headed to today for our birthday celebration! This handsome fella is Cory, and today is his 10th birthday! Born and raised at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Cory is a more recent addition to the zoo’s bachelor group. While the bachelor group composition has changed slightly, Cory and the rest of the gorillas (especially in the bachelor group) get to experience the magic every day. We’re sure today, for his special bday, there was some extra Disney magic!

Happy Birthday to my fluffy boy "Z"! 🥳 Whenever I'm asked if I have a favorite, I always admit that while I try not to love any of them more than another, Zawadi has a special place in my heart. He has such a depth to his personality. He can express SOOO much just through his eyes and his movements. And if I could spend a day with just one of the troop, it would most certainly be "Z" that I chose. 🥰 They are magnificent individuals and I hope this guy brings us all joy for many years to come! ❤️

Originally born at the Lincoln Park Zoo, Zawadi headed south to the magical land of Orlando in 1997 before Disney’s Animal Kingdom officially opened to join their bachelor group. While the bachelor group has changed slightly over the last few years, we know your keepers sprinkled some extra pixie dust for you and the boys today!

Amber Roberts writes: At the tender age of 2, I first crossed paths with Snow White. From that moment on, through my adolescent years until I turned 15, she always remembered me, calling me by name. She truly made my Disney childhood enchanting beyond words. Although I haven't seen her in person since, I discovered she's now embodying the role of the Fairy Godmother. Today, I finally reunited with her and received the warmest hug. Truly, the best day ever!!
(And yes, there were tears!) 🌟✨

To know Mr. Richard, was to love him. 🥰 He was the constant smile that meant you were home. His presence is missed at those doors but for some of us, his memory will always be there. ❤️

June 14, 1925:
Richard Gerth, longtime Walt Disney World cast member who was well-known for greeting guests at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, is born Richard Paul Gerth in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
Serving as a greeter at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Florida for nearly 30 years (starting in 1991), he earned the Disney Legacy award in 2013. Known for his straw hat – which he would tip to welcome guests – Gerth became seen as a grandfatherly figure for visiting families, who would come back to visit and take photos with him year after year. Humble and gentle, Richard was also a huge part of Disney Weddings and has been captured in thousands of photos over the years.
Sadly, he passed at age 92 in Kissimmee, Osceola County, Florida, on June 7, 2018.

I was finally able to experience Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil & Disney last night. 😍 There are few times in my life I am left speechless but this was one. All I can say is that, it's worth it! Oh, and take tissues if you're a softie like me. Make the time in your visit to see this show. This was a level of performance that truly took my breath away on more than one occasion! 🤯 If you need help with tickets and planning, just let me know. I want to help you experience this amazing masterpiece. ❤️
