‘Our Connemara Walks’

Authors Patrick and Amelia are delighted to share the news that ‘Our Connemara Walks’ has been a great success. We have had loads of positive feedback from many satisfied readers who are walking the walks and loving the scenery and the flowers. Even experienced Connemara walkers are finding it of practical help. Pet owners value it. Retired walkers find it a great souvenir of of walks they walked once upon a time. And everyone comments on the brilliant photographs.

Several bookshops report it to be among their bestsellers and we have had repeat orders from nearly 20 bookshops including The Clifden Bookshop, Millars, Connemara Hampers and Connemara Handcrafts in Clifden; Keogh’s, Sullivan’s and Standun’s of Oughterard; Charlie Byrnes and River Deep Mountain High in Galway; XL in Roundstone; Book1 in Letterfrack; Keane’s of Maam; Hamilton’s in Leenane and Kelly’s Post Office in Clarinbridge.

Amelia continues to enjoy the ongoing sales of ‘My Connemara Journeys’ which has been another success in the shops, sought after by tourists and local residents alike.

Patrick has been out walking on the Burren three or four times a week with coauthors Tim O’Connell and Eddie Joyce and expects to have ‘Our Burren Walks’ ready for the Christmas market.

Meanwhile - there have been several suggestions that there are easily another 16 walks in Connemara that would be really well worth writing up for the health and pleasure the avid Connemara walker. Possibly!
