KAS is back again with the long-awaited trip. We didn't forget what we promised, so here we are listening to the south calls and planning to treat you all to a beach break.🤩

THE EVENT IS POSTPONED, NEW DATES WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON!

Surfin Safari 1.0 is postponed for a while because of preproffs and proffs going on of the majority of years.

The fellow kmdcians have requested us to delay the event till they are done with their proffs. Considering their request, we have decided on postponing the event for a while.

Soon we will be announcing the new date, stay tuned! We have lots and lots of plans coming for you all in the coming year!

Do keep checking, as new dates won't be too late.

14th August marks the day when Pakistan achieved independence, it was a hard-fought battle for sovereign rights and religious freedom.

The greenish-blue crystal clear and freezing water of this lake, surrounded by giant glaciers, including Nanga Parbat, reflects the beauty of Saif-ul-Malook.

It is situated in Kaghan valley hm said ul Malook Park. Nearly 10,578 feet above sea level.

The lake takes its name due to the famous tale of a prince, Saif-ul-Malook, who fell in love with a fairy princess, Badi-ul-Jamal.

The lush green, scenic village of Kashmir steals everybody's heart with its breathtaking views. It is situated above 8000ft altitude.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙚𝙡?

The spectacular Arang Kel is situated 2 KM away from Kel Village. Reach Kel in a private coaster or Public Transport. Take a Doli ride to reach the other side near the mountains. Trek 30-40min to reach the Arang Kel.

The trek is steep and becomes very slippery during Rainfall but in absence of Rainfall, it's relatively easy and gives you a firm grip on the ground. The little rest stations have been created at multiple spots during the trek where you can take a mini rest if you are out of breath.

𝑫𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒚 𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒌: Very Easy

Horses are also available to assist you. You can find multiple locals going from Arang Kel to Kel trek for schooling and other work purposes.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀, 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗶

The Queen of Lakes, Ratti Gali never fails to mesmerize its beholder. The beautiful scenery with a motionless lake makes the perfect combination. The term Ratti Gali is derived from the word “Ratta” which means 𝒓𝒆𝒅. The mesmerizing lake is surrounded by a unique red-coloured flower which is the reason it is named Ratti Gali.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙡𝙖𝙠𝙚?

This Lake is situated in Azad Kashmir. Firstly reach Dowarian through private or public transport. From there, you have to take a jeep ride of 2-2.5 hours. The jeep will drop you at the scenic base camp of Ratti Gali.

Leave your unnecessary stuff at base camp and take water bottles, ORS, mobile, or must carry essentials only on the trek. The trek starts from base camp to Ratti Gali lake. It is around 45min to 1-hour trek, comprising of hilly, grassy, and slippery areas. In between the trek, you will get a glimpse of a waterfall and small Ratti Gali lake too.

𝑫𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒚 𝑳𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒌: Easy to Moderate

Horses are available but they didn't take you to the lake due to the extreme steepness of the trek in the last part. But initial 30 min trek you can cover it on a Horse ride.
