Animal Kingdom is the PERFECT place to celebrate the Earth on Earth Day and year round!! Here’s a few things DAK (Disney’s Animal Kingdom) does to celebrate Mother Nature everyday!

1. Affection Section: Take the Wild Express Train 🚊to Rafiki’s Planet Watch and pet some goats, pigs, sheep, cows, and donkeys! And learn all about their diets and nutrition information! 🐮
2. Become a Wilderness Explorer: All around the park you can learn and different animals, their habitats, their sounds and so much more! And after learning about each animal, receive a badge! 🦁
3. Ride Kali River Rapids: In the queue learn all about deforestation and how to prevent it! 🌲
4. Donate to the Conservation Fund: At any merchandise location, you can donate to the Conservation Fund and Disney will match your donation 100%! 💸

Happy Wonders of Xandar Wednesday!! 👽🚀

The Wonders of Xandar Pavilion is the Guardians of the Galaxy themed land in Epcot!💫 This pavilion opened in 2022 and includes a Xandarian Starblaster Ship🚀, the Cosmic Rewind ride⏮️, and the Treasures of Xandar shop💰.

Cosmic Rewind is a brand new, high-speed roller coaster where you help the Guardians save the universe from a Celestial being!🤖 There are 6 songs you could get which makes for a completely different ride each time you ride it!🎢The 6 songs are Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Conga, One Way or Another, Disco Inferno, September, and I Ran!

Happy Presidents’ Day!🇺🇸🦅

Watching Hall of Presidents is a great way to celebrate Presidents’ day! This attraction features all 45 former (and current) presidents as audio animatronics in a 23 minute show about the history of America! 🇺🇸 Here’s a couple of fun facts about this historical attraction to celebrate the holiday:

1. You’ll notice that I said 45 presidents and not 46 presidents. This is because Grover Cleveland was the 22nd AND the 24th president!🤯
2. There are only 2 presidential seals in existence and one of them is in this attraction! It took an act of congress to get approved!🧑‍⚖️
3. There’s a mini museum inside the building to explore while you wait! This medium holds artifacts such as Theodore Roosevelt’s teddy bear, Teddy G🧸, and Lincoln’s hat! 🎩

has uploaded all of the festival booth menus for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival 2024! There are some fan favorites that are unfortunately not returning such as the Impossible Korean Short-Ribs from Trowel and Trellis😭 HOWEVER, there are some snacks that ARE returning! Here are a few of my favorites❤️:

TIANAS BAYOU ADVENTURE HAS A NEW OPENING TIMELINE! 🎉👸🏾🌲🐸

Disney just announced this morning that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will now open Summer 2024 instead of Fall 2024!🎉 The attraction is looking amazing so far! showed glimpses of the foliage, the art work, and the newest Tiana animatronic! I can’t wait to see the full attraction this summer!☀️

Figment is a beloved Epcot favorite! But how much do we really know about our little imagination friend? Here’s a couple fun facts about everyone’s favorite Figment:

1. Figment has been around Epcot since opening day! He originally comes from the opening day attraction, Journey into Imagination! ✨
2. Figment had his own educational series called Language Arts through Imagination which aired in 1988!📚
3. Figment was originally supposed to be green! 🐉

🎉1900 PARK FARE FINALLY HAS A REOPENING DATE 🎉

Earlier this morning, announced that 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian will reopen on April 10th!🎉 During the buffet style Breakfast and Dinner you’ll be able to meet Prince Ali, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana (in her Tiana’s Bayou Adventure look!!!!!!!!😱😱🎉)! You can also find 12 BRAND NEW art pieces throughout the main dining room!🖼️

Jambo Friends! 👋Happy Monday from the Himalayas of Animal Kingdom! 🌳🦌🐾🐼

Expedition Everest is one of my favorite rides and it has such a unique story behind it! So many people came together to tell this seamless story we love! Here’s a couple fun facts about said story!

1. In order to make the ride feel authentic to the Himalayas, Imagineerss brought in plant life native to the agriculture in Nepal and Tibet. 🌿🌾
2. If you look at this attraction from an aerial view, it makes a giant hidden Mickey! 🐭
3. The photos hanging in the Expedition Everest Himalayan Village Museum were taken by Imagineer, Joe Rhode while on his research trip to Nepal for the attractions village. 🗻

Celebrate Soulfully🎶 at Disney World this Black History Month!💃🏾🎉

Happy almost Black History Month! Walt Disney World has announced some AMAZING ways to celebrate and learn about Black history and culture all next month!

During Epcot’s Festival of the arts, they are highlighting black artists 🎨and singers 🎵.Their artist lineup is Yesenia Moises, Ryan Riller, and Larissa Marantz! For the singers, they have some of our favorite broadway stars L. Steven Taylor, Kissy Simmons, Bradley Gibson, and Michael James Scott!🎉

You can partake in the art walk at disney springs🖼️, explore the African Art exhibit at Animal Kingdom🌍, learn about Floyd Norman (Disney’s first Black animator) 🖌️, taste some traditional comfort food 🥘, and more!

Themes have just been announced for Disneyland’s Halloween Half Marathon Weekend 2024!👻🎃

The marathon weekend is taking place from September 5th-8th! This includes yoga, kids races, a 5k, 10k, half marathon, AND a Chills and Thrills challenge! The Chills and Thrills Challenge tests your ability to run a 10k and half marathon on pace! 🤯 Each race and challenge has their own design for merch and metals so let’s take a look at the themes!

5K: Chip ‘n Dale 🐿️
10k: Hitch Hiking Ghosts 👻
Half Marathon: Minnie 🐭, Daisy 🐤, and Clarabelle🐮 as the Sanderson Sisters

I think one of the coolest offerings for the holidays is the Holiday Storytellers in Epcot! In the countries of the world showcase, these storytellers share holiday traditions of their country. Like the tale of La Befana, from Norway, the kind hearted witch who visits sleeping young children on the Eve of the Epiphany. Or in Japan you can hear the amazing story of the Daruma doll and the Japanese customs of the New Year!
