There are hundreds of miles of trails in the Durango area!
Here are a few of my favorites. It's hard to make a favorites list because there are so many. 🥾⛰️🌻
These few hikes only scratched the surface but offer beautiful scenery and not as many crowds!

Columbine lake: Outside Silverton. 7 mi round trip, 2,540 ft. Elevation. Advanced hike!

Silver Mountain: La Plata Canyon. 9 mi round trip, 4,000 ft. Elevation gain. Advanced hike!

Indian Ridge Trail: La Plata Canyon. 12.5 mi round trip, 2,600 ft. elevation gain. Advanced hike!

Taylor Lake: La Plata Canyon. 2.8 mi round trip, 200 ft elevation. Beginner hike!

West Lime Creek Trail: San Juan Mountains. 6 miles round trip, 800 ft elevation gain. Beginner-intermediate hike!

Sharks Tooth trail: La Plata Mountains, Mancos 3 miles round trip, 1,000 ft. Elevation gain. Beginner -intermediate hike!
