This is the moment for Eastern Airlines to shine and make good money. There is a widebody shortage, and many airlines are contemplating bringing their 747, A-340 A-380 out of the desert and back into action. Eastern Airlines currently has active (2) 777-200ER and one Cargo 777-200ER that could be converted to passenger extremely easily. Plus 29 777 in the desert that could be brought back into service and leased out to foreign carriers even ACMI LEASED to some.

N276EA owned by the Bank of Utah was in Europe last I saw. I was told by source of IAERO that it was being retired prior to EAX takeover.

Eastern Airlines main Headquarters is at MCI in Kansas City. The old maintenance facility for TWA. As Eastern has a ton of aircraft that they have purchased. It is smart that they have a central maintenance facility here in the United States 🇺🇸 where they can address all their growing fleet. Eastern Airlines still has (29) Boeing 777-200(ER) that they can bring in and get ready to join the fleet as growth needs permit.

Eastern Air Express aircraft are all having maintenance done before entering service with Eastern AIr Express and all are getting the Eastern Airlines livery. Eastern Air Express fleet stands at (32) all Boeing 737 aircraft, which were obtained by two separate purchases by Eastern Airlines owner Kenneth Woolley. Purchasing Hillwood Airways from Texas a Ross Perot airline. Which operated 737-700 aircraft . Shortly after that Kenneth Woolley purchased all of the IAERO groups of 737 Aircraft which included (42) all Boeing 737-300, 737-400, and 737-800 aircraft including the original N276EA aircraft from Eastern 2. Now Eastern Air Express fleet stands at 32 Aircraft. While there are only (2) 737-800NG and (3) 737-700 it is my hope that Eastern begins to add more 737-800NG to its fleet. Eastern Air Express is currently operating Charter Service out of Miami International Airport to Havana Cuba 🇨🇺 and is to resume service to Las Americas International Airport in the Dominican Republic. There is rumor that it will soon be offering charter service to The Republic if Panama and to Port Au Prince Haiti as well as to Puerto Rico.
