Don't skip the playground in the middle of Dumbo the Flying elephant. Sometimes it is actually part of the line, where your kids are allowed to run around instead of standing in line. You receive a buzzer that will notify you of your time to rejoin the line. Great break for kids, and plenty of seating for parents!

Don't skip your button if you're celebrating a special occasion at Disney. We arrived to Animal Kingdom this morning and were first in line. Someone from guest services called us past the ticket scan area and started taking to us about our buttons and congratulating us on our 20 years together. She asked us so many thoughtful questions and then asked us our favorite ride at Animal Kingdom. We told her and another cast member who had joined the conversation pulled out her tablet and asked to see our magic bands. They gave us a free lightning lane for Flight of Passage. So we rope dropped and walked on. Now we're about to be able to ride it for a second time before 11am!

This isn't guaranteed of course, but you never know!

Friday fun fact:
Epcot utilizes over 500,000 plants for the Flower and Garden Festival each year! I'll be there in a couple weeks and cannot wait to see the newest designs. Today though, we're flying down to enjoy Magic Kingdom all day tomorrow!

MSC Seashore review part 3:
Pools and kids areas

Pools were on when they were full. Twice, pools were at least a foot and a half below full level. The outdoor pools did not have adequate seating.

The indoor pool had more seating available. The upper level had games and additional seating.

There appeared to be a lot of fun to be had by kids on the ship!

MSC Seashore Review part 2
The food

If you have ever been on a cruise, you know food is a big deal! There is typically a ton of really good food to enjoy once you are on board.

On the Seashore, the food was rather disappointing. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Lunch and dinner were bland, repetitive, and a lot of the food was dry. Additionally, the buffet layout was choppy and confusing. Unfortunately, the main dining room was worse. Main entree meats were all either over or undercooked, sides were very small and bland. But night 3 we couldn't even eat the food that was brought out. When we got up to leave, the maitre 'd was incredibly rude to us, basically telling us that if we leave he can't fix the problem and that would be on us. We did leave feedback about this situation with guest services and were told, "Life on board is hard. You can understand the crew members are tired."

We did find a restaurant on board called Hola Taco. It was $17.99 per person for all you can eat Mexican food. It was amazing! Photos are of that meal.

MSC Seashore review: Part 1
The ship and service

The ship is beautiful! Everything was clean and in good repair. Finishes and furnishings were modern and classy.

Upon embarking, we were barely greeted and given no direction. None of the staff seemed happy to be there. During our 7 day cruise, we were not approached at all by bar waiters to see if we wanted a drink. If we wanted something, we had to find it ourselves. Service in the main dining room was slow and inconsistent. Asking for help in any area of the ship left us feeling like we were a bother to the crew. We even heard crew members complaining to each other about work policies. Service definitely needs an overhaul!

Our room steward and 2 crew members in the photo department were great!
