This Saturday!

Don't miss some festive music this Saturday at Age Concern in Preston. Some pupils will be raising money and playing lots of Christmas tunes from 1pm onwards. Pop into the shop and have a browse whilst we entertain you and support a good charity. Age Concern is located on the flag market.

As of Tuesday (1/12) please note that the front entrance will be out of use - please use the back door until further notice.

As you enter the gate today (23/11) there is a large board to stand on - please be careful as the board is slightly raised off the ground. Do not walk on the flags as they need to set. Entry is still via the front door but this may change over the next few days. Many thanks for your co-operation.

Roadworks - Preston Road

There are temporary traffic lights near to Grimsargh Green which are causing major delays for traffic. These will probably be more severe at rush hour and could add 30 minutes to your journey. Please allow plenty of time to get here.

Please can I remind you that no one should park within 32 feet of the junction and that no one's driveway should be blocked by your vehicle - if you do then you are breaking the Highway Code. Please be considerate to others.

Please be aware that the entrance way is about to be repaired. As a result there is a possibility the area could be muddy if it rains! Hopefully work will commence in two weeks - if there is to be any disruption I will keep you updated by text - providing my mobile phone is repaired by then.

Good luck to all the musicians taking exams tomorrow. You have all worked so hard and it is really showing in your playing. Some of our youngest musicians are taking their first exam tomorrow.

Just a reminder that lessons start again tonight. I know some pupils are still enjoying their break but if you are not away - lessons are as normal.

What a lovely Easter break it has been.

It is a very busy term ahead for all the staff organising the summer exams. We will be getting the entries together in the nxt couple of weeks.

It's a busy time decorating the house ready for September start but the teaching rooms are starting to look good!

I have now started to plan the timetables for September so will let everyone know very soon. If anything has changed since you filled your forms in please let me know ASAP

A big Thankyou to all the wonderful parents who invest in music lessons for their children. It has been a fabulous year of teaching.

Thankyou to all the staff who work so hard to help the children love music.

Good luck to Anna Kulbacki who finally leaves us to further her career as an architect.

Well done to Mik Billington who has proven extremely popular teaching drums and guitar this year.

Well done to all the children and adults for their enthusiasm, practise and fun!

If anyone hasn't returned their request for lessons yet I will be working on a timetable next week.

We offer lessons in guitar, drums, piano, recorder, sax, clarinet, flute and cornet for anyone that is interested in starting.

Over 40 children have taken exams this year and my final two pupils have passed getting some amazing marks for their performances!

Well done Finlay Shepherd and Millie Clash I am soooooo happy!

I think it maybe time to think about a concert with some fabulous musicians!
